A thread on discernment, spiritual clarity, and the hidden danger of “righteous” harm.
We live in a murky world.
Truth is blurred. Pride wears a mask of righteousness.
And sometimes...
The most spiritual people cause the deepest harm.
“So the righteous people can do evil in a good way.”
Sounds wild, right?
But this is where things get real.
❗ How Do Good People Do Harm?
It’s not always because they’re evil.
It’s often because they’re unaware.
Here’s how it happens:
– Confusing being right with being righteous
– Speaking truth without love
– Using scripture to shame, not heal
– Acting from ego, calling it “God told me”
📖 Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”
Good intentions ≠ godly outcomes.
We must ask ourselves:
👉 Am I helping or hurting?
👉 Am I humbling myself, or hiding behind religion?
In the Bible, even good people made bad choices. King David, Peter, even Paul. But God doesn’t call us to look righteous — He calls us to walk in truth, humility, and discernment.
Because if we can’t tell the difference between bad (flawed, human) and evil (willful harm disguised as good),
we’ll keep wounding others — and calling it “ministry.”
If this made you pause, it was meant to.
Let’s break the cycle of spiritual confusion.
Let’s see clearly. Walk humbly. Love truly. (13/)
