yes! - he was told he "dying you shall die" would be added to him in the day he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good from evil.
exactly as though "
dying" was not his present state.

to suppose he had to eat from the tree of life regularly in order to keep himself from death is to say that he was already "dying" -- that the "very good" sinless state of his initial creation was being full of death & addicted to an ineffectual antidote - ineffectual because even if he ate from it once, he would only have to eat from it again.

so IMO such a position is irrevocably wrong on at least three accounts: ((1)), it contradicts Romans 5:12 because it places death before sin. ((2)), it contradicts Romans 6:23 because it makes the gift of God death, rather than life, giving Adam the wages of sin even while he has no sin, and ((3)), it makes the tree of life a "lie" because it doesn't give true life, it only gives a temporary illusion of life that is instead swallowed up by death, contradicting 1 Corinthians 15:54.

i don't understand why anyone would believe that for a second, but it's amazingly common!
show me where Adam ever eat from the tree of life. As for Adam he did die within a day. Remember one day with the Lord is a thousand years with man.
I would say it had to do with the parable of the lost son. Adam and Eve were interested in leaving the tree of life (aka Jesus) and going out on their own.

So why were there talking serpents and trees to create chaos in this world. I have no idea, but it was planned. We know that bc God knows everything. But even though he knows everything it doesn't mean he likes it. Accordingly the parable of the wheat, where both the weeds and the harvest must grow together show God's rationale for allowing the wicked in the world.

In my opinion eating from the tree of knowledge was right at the time where Satan "fell from heaven" with his fallen angels. It was also the fall of man. In fact it's what started this war.
Blueluna5 your post is interesting to me you have hit on some points. Is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil even a tree? Who or what is able to make himself seem like an angle of light, or as the shepherd but is really a raging wolf? Could it be that this could be the same person that Paul wrote about in 2nd Corinthians 11:2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Lets look at this word beguiled

So Eve was seduced wholly by who? the serpent Paul is worried that the Corinthians would loose their spiritual virginity to Satan as Eve had lost hers to Satan. Eve told the serpent "Satan" who had not long ago been kicked out of Heven for starting a war and ending the first earth age. That she was not to touch the tree of the fruit of good and evil.

As you read this is there any other way you can look at the Kings intentions than as to what they were?
Another question; How meticulous was God with the Gemology of His people. In a word VERY.

Genesis 4.
The Descendants of Cain
17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. 18And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech. 19And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. 21And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. 22And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
There is no mention of a father for Cain why is that? Could it be that Adam was not Cain's father? Could someone else been his father? Was there anyone else in the garden that God forgot to mention? I will let you answer those questions.
Genesis 5.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: 7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters: 8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: 10And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters: 11And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: 13And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters: 14And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared: 16And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters: 17And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
Notice neither Able or Cain are in Adams line. Able would not be because he was killed before he had any children so he had no seed line to follow

You made all these accusations, not me. You're either playing dumb or real dumb. Disciples were thinking what we would be usually thinking - KARMA. That's what Job's three snarky friends were bitching about at his pity party, and that's also what you said earlier, that it's "God's judgement". How did Jesus respond? What you meant for evil, God uses it for good. He restored the man's sight, and later the man was brought to the pharisees, the cultural elites. How did he testify? "I was blind, now I see!"
We are talking about Adam, and whether God originally created him sinless yet still full of death.

I never claimed he ate from the tree of life, nor did I claim he didn't.

I have been arguing against the idea that he was perpetually dying before he ever sinned.

As for a day, remember also the Psalm says it is as a watch in the night to the Lord. A few hours.

Genesis 3 is not about sex.
The Children of the Devil
42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Who was the first murderer?

Are you sure. When did Eve get Pragnit? Explain to me why Adam has a line without Cain and why Cain has a line without a father?
You appear to be bonkers...?

Genesis 4:1
Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain

Her name is not Eve until after their judgement.
Eve conceived.
Not Woman, but Eve.

Who was the first murderer?
Satan is the first murderer. He murdered himself, woman, and man. He did not abide the truth, he broke his spirit into Three Lies, cast them into the woman's mind, possessed her, and she ate the forbidden fruit and then gave it to man and he ate too. Death entered the world, and he is first cursed for it. Irredeemably damned is the old serpent.

You're just like the disciples who attributed the poor man's blindness to either his own sin or his parents' sin. Did God originally create him that way?

Was Adam created blind?

We are talking about whether God created Adam in order to kill him, such that the original sinless creation was full of death, the wages of sin, even though there was no sin.

Did sinless Adam begin to die the moment he was created?

Did sinless Jesus Christ decompose and fill with corruption?

Sin and death were Adam's own choice. You're accusing God of Satan's sabotage.
