whats the benefit of believing in the trinity?
You do not have to ignore any Bible verses and pretend they do not exist.
whats the benefit of believing in the trinity?
You have put the cart before the horse!so without the trinity one will never understand the Most High? this would mean great Patriarchs like Samuel, Elijah, Moses had no understanding of the Father. the Father even spoke to Moses face to face, hard to believe Moses didnt have any understanding of Him.
It is the beginning of all things visible and invisible apart from God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. .
whats the benefit of believing in the trinity?
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth
1 Corinthians 1:5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
Benefit : Knowledge of the truth about the Godhead where the truth shall make us free and God’s children are not destroyed.
Pray hard for the accurate knowledge, and I hope you really do get it, but Satan shows himself as an angel of light when he is the angel of darkness.
There was nothing then there were three, this seems strange to someone like me, Is there one God as the Bible explains, or is the three gods on the same plane. Will one god be a good as another, or do we have to ask our old mother, the trinity is wrong it is not about God, it is more like the question from the Wizard of Odd.
Go back to Jabbird88 posting. However is is also proving the true identity of Jehovah the only true God.
An angel, as related in my excerpt from JW.org
The identity of the Angel of the Lord in the burning story is not revealed in the story it's self, therefore no one can say for sure but is it possible ? Yes !
No dagallen, it's impossible for the angel of the Lord to be Michael the arc angel and I know you do not know why? As I said to bronson, please look up the Hebrews word "malak." In fact, I'll do it for you, please read the following. Strong's Hebrew: 4397. מַלְאָך (malak) -- a messenger
IN GOD THE SON,
bluto
Messenger sent by God, as the messenger was called the Angel of the Lord, therefore a messenger sent by God, however the messenger's name was not revealed, as far as Michael, he was a messenger who's name was revealed, so in the burning bush story, the messenger could be Michael but there would no way of showing such proof, just as no one really knows who the messenger was by name, it's unknown. However the messenger in the bush was not God himself.
So dagellen, who told you that it was an angel that appearrd to Abram at Genesis 17:1-2? In other words how did you come to that conclusion when the text explicitly says it was the Lord God Almighty?
In Him,
bluto
I was talking about the story of the burning bush.
God is eternal, He was before creation.
In the beginning of creation, there already were Father, Son and The Holy Spirit.
There is one God with three persons, like one triangle with three vectors.
And clearly you are unaware of the meaning of the Greek word translated 'begotten.'In this case, then, the statement that Jesus was God's only begotten son is a lie, in your mind.
Ok fine dagallen. So how do you know the angel of the Lord is an actually an angel like Michael or even Gabriel, because it says so in the text? There was a reason why I ask you to look up the Hebrew word for "angel" which is "malak." The word not only means a real angel but it also simply means "messenger."
Furthermore, it is the "CONTEXT" that determines which application applies, either angel or messenger. And it goes without saying that it is true that a real angel like Michael is also a messenger but a messenger is not necessarily an angel. A good example of what I'm talking about can be found at Malachi 3:1, "Behold, I am going to send My "malak/angel/messenger" and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the "malak/angel/messenger" of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, He is coming, says the Lord of hosts."
So who do you think is the person who cleared the way of the Lord which is Jesus Christ? Matthew 3:1-3, "Now in those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, vs2, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." vs3, For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet saying, "The Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make read the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight."
So you see dagallen, the word angel does not always mean an actual angel like you think or even how bronson the Jw thinks and "assumes." So, I'll ask you again regarding Genesis 17:1,2 who appeared to Abraham claiming to be the Lord God Almighty?![]()
IN THE ANGEL OF THE LORD,
bluto
So, Oh! Great Bluto, the wonder of all things, who is Gabriel and Michael the Arch Angel. If angels are only messengers what was the angel that killed 185.000 Assyr'ian soldiers in one night. Boy, that was some message, hey? What about the angels of the four winds, what is their message to be? what about Satan, he is an angel and was a prominent angel in the heavens before he rebelled? Satan has more in mind that just sending messages.
So, Mr walking intellect, before you criticize other people, especially when you "blute" off at the mouth, just look after the log in your own eye first.
You see folks, Bluto does not really mean anything that is worth reading, just like his imaginary angels he is trying to put over.
