So I'm posting this intentionally under the Young Adults on purpose...:)

From your Christian perspective where do we stand in 100 years from now...? And yes, we WILL survive at least 50 more...

I have 2 young boys and since you guys will be determining their fate I want your perspective!

I see some inexplicably unstoppable trends occurring in the world (esp. the US) today.. I wonder if younger people see them too or if I'm just being paranoid as a dad.

Never before in history have we as Christians been soo openly attacked and ridiculed for our beliefs OR openly persecuted (I'm talking about the news and social media coverage that certainly is NOT on our side). It's sickening to think this country was founded on GOD!!!

BUT...

I'm aware all these things and more MUST happen... the Word of God WILL be done. So as we know... we certainly are not gong to reverse course and suddenly run through grass meadows together... it'll get worse and worse... and we'll kick dirt and stomp our feet - but it will still happen. Just as it is today.

The door for Islam has been kicked WIDE open by this regime... think THAT is an accident? ...:)

Things are looking mighty bleak at this point...just getting through the next 5 yrs would be a miracle in itself....just saying....

Look up the Tytler Cycle, it is an interesting topic. It seems like today people tend to vote for what candidate promises the most stuff...Money is a big thing in our country...
 
It's most likely going to be business as usual. The pro choice folks will be barking, the liberals and the conservatives will be attacking each other, the POTUS will be criticized, the IRS will get even meaner, illegal aliens will still be flooding the country, there will be wars, your mil will be moving in to stay, all in all, the country will be in pretty good shape:p
 
It is likely that the US would not be recognizable in 50 years. Personally, this does not bother me because I likely will not be around to form an assessment of the state of the union. In my estimation things will be getting much worse with each passing year. This is still the land of the free (government hand-outs to unworthy individuals and corporations) but it certainly is not home of the brave. It is financially and morally corrupt.

So my 2 cents would be


1. The American Union is created - we'll still keep our little names like the EU did but there will be no physical OR economic borders - between South, North and Canada. If you can't tell $$ if driving the world we have issues.

1.1 The first trillion-airs will be created

2. With the death of fossil fuels in the "West" (lesser developed countries will certainly still rely on oil as it will be dirt cheap) there will be a mass exodus from those nations that deeply depend on oil such as Russia, the Middle East and South America

3. Whites will be the minority and treated as such

4. Islam will be at the very least on par with Christianity - Major cities will have huge muslim hubs (imagine England just in the US) - Terrorism will be wide spread but probably more so on other "Western Countries" as the US will still be bending over backwards to appease them - certain back room deals will keep them at bay. Islamic holidays will edge out Christian holidays in schools. There will be a wide spread general acceptance and joining of "peaceful" Islam.

5. The American EU military will emerge

6. Hispanics will replace Blacks not only in low income jobs but their "plight" will replace slavery (to some degree). Blacks will literally be pushed off the edge economically but sustained welfare and other social programs will keep them from uprising.

7. AI and VR (Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality) will replace many jobs, the way we interact, and how we work.

And I need coffee... :)

Really? 13 million people were killed in the concentration camps. 6 million were Jews. Who else got Hitler's wrath? Those that helped the Jews -- the Christians.

100,000 believers were killed per day by Nero. 100,000. KILLED! And not merely shot in the head or stuck in gas chambers. He used them for streetlights between Jerusalem and Rome to light his path. He lit them on fire after impaling them on poles!!! Then he filled the coliseum for a few months to let people watch wild animals eat them. Lions only eat when they're hungry, so sometimes the Christians waiting to be killed had to wait up to two weeks, huddled with their children, before the lions were ready for them. 100,000 per day!

That's why they hid for 2-3 centuries.

Now we're maligned in the press? I prefer that than what real persecution is today.

Another class is graduating a local seminary soon. The seminary doesn't give B.A.'s or B.S's. It's masters degrees or doctorates. And some of those men are going home to their home countries after graduating to preach the Good News. It's illegal in their country. When they're discovered, they'll be killed immediately. That could be at the airport as they get off the jet. It could be later. It's guaranteed none of them will see 2019. That's prosecution!

Only the US would make a penny that costs 1.7 cents to make...;) oddly enough commen core math makes it work!
