However, China is being crushed by 3d printers replacing much of their export market and this story reveals that India and Philippines will also be crushed by AI replacing the BPO jobs.

For these countries with 30% of the world's population the shift will be catastrophic.
When Trump placed tariffs on imported goods a lot of people screamed about how that would damage our economy and ten years ago they would have been right. But all it really did was accelerate the move to 3d printers manufacturing the stuff locally. Ten years ago we didn't have that option, today we do. This is also why the US needs Venezuela oil supply to come to us, China isn't going to be manufacturing our plastic goods anymore.
Of course, this is why we are headed for WW3.

I can share my own experience. It says the jobs are being replaced by Claude.Ai, I use this service. I needed to make a website, I explained to Claude what I needed and in one day I had my website. Over the last week I had to update it five times and each time I told Claude what the update was and poof it did it. Claude also advised me what free service I could use and how I could get a domain cheaply. Claude.ai also assists me the way an executive secretary would, and it assists me the way a researcher would. I was recently on a debate forum that lasted over an hour. This was uploaded to Youtube which created a transcript. I had Claude.ai do an analysis of the transcript to identify and analyze the different positions each person took during the debate to then publish that for comparison purposes. The amount of work I have been able to do in one week with the help of Claude.ai is absolutely incredible. I also had it write three grant proposals, write up the training manuals for this, write press releases, etc. Now the ideas were mine, and I gave it direction over everything, and I read over the final product making changes. King Charles III will make a big speech tomorrow that may help accelerate the inevitable Starmergeddon. Besides a change of Prime Minister until eletions are held, it'll either way be a big change in the Labour Party and really, after these bloodbath elections, will determine if they continue exist as a party more than anything else.
