Well before you hedge your bets on Russia you should know that for one America has tremendous assets to offset the national debt problem, which is fairly a big problem, and USA's trade defecits overall and especially with China have succeeded in starting a major closure of our trade defecit gap so despite the Trump-fetishist people's lies actually the sanctions and tariffs largely implemented last year (2025) are working. The real biggest risk right now for USA is the housing market collapsing in such a way as to basically repeat 2008 recession.
Nevertheless let's consider the alternative. Somehow Russia the energy giant of BRICS is undergoing a major gas crises, it slightly alleviated in July but has returned even worse as Russia's quality gasoline supply dwindles swiftly. In tandem with Russia's stagnation and losses in the war they started for a lie, they will also require another "partial mobilization" (a draft) very soon, perhaps in late falls like their previous mobilizations. It is estimated about only 1/3rd of Russia's gas stations even have gasoline and its poor quality at that. China isn't doing much better after they overtly refused to be a real world leader and responsible superpower and punish Iran for the brutal massacre at the start of the year or else at least get them under control after the noble and valiant USA and Israel had to be the only countries that would do the right thing.
Go ahead and defect if you want, but my bet is on US being the only real civilized nation on Earth for the rest of my lifetime. May the wicked nations be crushed and the Christian nations be blessed, praise Jesus.

Don't bet on Russia, bet on US, it's no comparison in the present which nation really believes in God. My America will still be around by the end of my mortal life, Russia might not be though. May their wicked nation crumble in front of the face of even your generation, praise Jesus.
I believe Revelation 18 refers to the US. There are about 40 distinguishing characteristics given of the Great Babylon and only the US fits all of them. All of the other options only fit a small minority of them.
God is omniscient, He knows much more than either of us concerning the sins of the nation. I also believe this judgment is imminent.
So here is the update on WW3, Donald Trump's latest emargo and sanctions on Iran means we are at war with China because they are a trading partner with Iran.
Also, Russia has made it clear that NATO is helping Ukraine in their attacks on Russia and so Russia is at war with NATO and the US is at war with China.
Be that as it may, but WWIII wasn’t started by Trump. The Russian “delusion” about being at war with NATO is part of their disinformation campaign, which is their preferred narrative. Putin has emptied the areas bordering NATO countries for soldiers and heavy artillery for years now. Why? Because he knows NATO isn’t a threat to him. Putin is well aware of the fact that NATO poses no threat.
Putin’s problem is that he can’t find a way out of the quagmire in Ukraine. He’s like a NASCAR driver who knows that he’s running low on fuel and has to find a crew member to blame before the gas tank is empty.
I can’t speak for any of them, but the IRGC and Xi, are even better at suppression than Putin.
Right now we are watching Putin and Zelenskyy throwing stones at each other, while Xi, the kindergarten teacher, reasons that those two unruly toddlers may should be expelled from the kindergarten for the sake of better working environment.

Of course they will all wind up being judged. That is what the New Testament teaches and why each of us needs to repent so that we do not wind up in the lake of fire which was made for the fallen angels, not for us. But we are not there yet. Right now we are still separating out the wheat from the tares. The tares are going into bundles which will be thrown in the fire. Yes, Putin is in one bundle, the IRGC is one bundle, Xi is one bundle, but don't be foolish and think Americans are exempt and don't have any tares growing here. With what judgment you judge you shall be judged. If Americans have been involved in any of the sins that they are condemning Russia, China and the IRGC from being in then they will get the same judgment.
Putin started a war based on a lie outright. He's not looking for an off-ramp. The Russian society doesn't have innocent civillians, the Russian public is extremely evil, the average Russian is even more evil than Putin they just don't have his brain. Putin's candle burns quick, he looks hardened and ready to die in the last few appearances he has made. When Putin dies because he carefully crafted his system to insulate power to himself and he has no real successor to take his place, there will be such a power vacuum in a society of extreme degenerates that their heretic nationstate be shattered. The moment Putin dies, which is soon, the Russian Federation will be broken into shards as if the unseen hand picked them up like a vase and threw them against the wall that reads Mene Tekel Upharsim. Praise Jesus.
