Why should the USA even do nothing? Israel outguns and outnumbers the people of Gaza by a mile. Gazans got NOTHING on Israel, it can hardly be considered a war. They are already contained and surrounded in Gaza with no electricity, they are incapable of inflicting harm on Israel.

The reality is that Palestinians reject the right of Israel to exist. This has been the case since 14th May 1948, well before Hamas arose. Palestinians teach their children to hate Israel. Until now, Israel allowed 18,000 Gazans to work in Israel. They supplied electricity and water. And that in spite of constant harrasment by Hamas. Israel has the right to exist and to defend itself.
They've already done considerable harm to Israel. Murdering babies is not harm? Murdering people going about their daily lives is not harm? Do you know how hard urban warfare is? Hamas will lose, but the cost to Israel will be high. And that is before considering the possibility that Iran will get directly involved.

I believe this time Israel is going to be ruthless. They have already said so. Therefore the cycle may not continue over there. But Hamas also wants to create terror in the USA.
I can see both sides I think. Israel used to be Muslim and Muslims didn't hate us till we took their land for our Bible. How would you feel if they gave Mormons a state? It was native American Bible supposedly. I don't really think it helped Jews. After Hitler they would have done better to become Americans where we have rights. They live through terrorism when they could be at a football game eating hotdogs. Anyways I would tell them come to the USA. We Christians of America love Jews.

What it is....is how do we move forward?
Israel has never been Muslim. Islam was formed centuries after Israel left Egypt to occupy the promised land. Muslims have always hated Jews and Christians. You should learn a bit of history before commenting.
The reason the Jews went to what is called Palestine is because God drew them there. Jews have never been truly safe anywhere. America is increasingly antisemitic. It is God who restored Israel, not man. God will defend Israel even when all seems lost. America will be powerless to help. Who wants to listen to American boasting for a 1,000 years?
