Vegemite is much better tasting than Marmite.
Marmite is too sweet. It's got sugar in it, while Vegemite has none.

Yea, never tried tasting axle grease....?!

Isn't that just the same as margarine?

Because, last I checked, you can actually buy it here - and, some have tried it...

If memory serves correctly - I tried it many years ago and hated it - as in, yuck!

But, that was/is just my experience. For anyone who likes it - "more power to you"...
Americans do not know who to use Vegemite. First, your bread is full of sugar and disgusting to me. Second, Americans use a trowel with their spreads. Vegemite should only be applied thinly, unless you are like me. Vegemite goes well with cheese and tomato on sandwiches. I still want to meet the individual who ate both axle grease and Vegemite.

In nz, people like marmite and chip sandwiches.

chips = crisps

If you like blue vein cheese, as I do, you don't really need marmite/vegemite with your cheese. Yea it's an acquired taste.
