Your right; its the 'democrats' who are satan's pawns.. not the REPUBLICAN George Bush who pushed so hard for a New World Order; not his REPUBLICAN son, G. W. Bush, that wanted nothing more than to pass his Patriot Act that would remove our rights to privacy and free speech--the very independence and freedoms our Country is founded upon. I know you guys are older than me and surely you are wiser, but you lived through a time when we could say we were free (or perhaps just freer). I don't know how you think or believe personally so I can not appeal to you individually--but obviously you seem to be unhappy with the DEMOCRAT in power now. The Declaration of Independence statesthat, "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and a Pursuit of Happiness.That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the people to alter or abolish it." Now, I'm certainly not crying for a rebellion; I say that merely to point out how prevalent and common our disgust, distrust, and dislike is for our governing body;coupled with how prevalent inaction and ignorance is among our citizens. People are consumed by materialistic possessions, celebrity-worship and trash tv. And those that do protest- even those without violence, are answered with military police, tear gas, & sometimes, they are even shot. Does this agree with our right of the people to peaceably assemble, and petition the government for a redress of grievances? And to my original point-- The Democrat/Republican righteousness argument is null and void at this point; it comes down to the man (or men) himself as the pawn. And not in the disrespectful sense sense of the word, a tone that is painfully common in this community; but in the very real and tangible sense that there are powerful, sick people in high places, doing satan's work to bring about their Evil agenda.
Speaking to a crowd that is 50+, based on those that responded, you will I'm sure be the first to admit that the younger generations have taken a bad turn, make that a fast sprint towards the devil! Turn on the radio, listen to the popular music that is geared towards our young, impressionable children. Turn on tv, pick a view of the kids shows (not the tot shows like Dora etc.), and see what values are being taught.
I may be young, and inexperienced; but I am no fool. I am not troubled, crazy, or wildly imaginative; in fact, I am unfortunately rather skeptical. Which means the things I hold as truths, I have double-, triple-, and quadruple- checked.
At first, I felt I mistakenly chose this outlet to voice my ...concerns if you will. Being the sensitive girl that I am, It really hurt me to feel attacked and insulted by what initially gave me so much hope. I prayed, asking the Lord for answers-"God, 7 months ago I was blissfully naive to the world, only seeing the surface. Then for some reason you deemed it necessary to open my eyes to the purest of evils, also making me appreciate the most ultimate of GOODS!" And I thank Him, and am humbled- Now what am I supposed to do with it. He reassured me, you are doing the right thing, do you think no one with an unpopular message faced adversity; I am one person. I love God, I love Jesus, I love my family, I love my friends, I love all that is beautiful and good, and am truly pained and heartbroken for those that are driven down a path to wickedness. I want to do what is right and maybe just be able to help someone along the way who also starts to notice the overwhelming tide of evil in the world and becomes afraid.
Ultimately, Crazy chaotic world or not, that is the reason I sought out those of you who responded harshly to me today. The world can get scary. And all of God's children need a refuge while we're here on Earth to help make sense of it all. I study my Bible everyday and pray the Almighty Teacher sets my path and lights my way.
