You need to take a course on hermeneutics, your understanding of texts in their context is so misguided. firstly, you cannot take one scripture like Job 9:6 and say boom theres proof, pillars! read the entire of Job 9…thats why it is there. Try and understand the writers tone and to what degree something is metaphorical or literal. I understand clearly the whole purpose is to bash Christianity, but try a little to be intellectual and unbias in your interpretation. Otherwise your goal of getting people against the bible is merely just going to fuel the already anti-biblical people, and not any sceptics. Also, the earth hangs upon nothing, please explain how that can be metaphorical? how many times have writers in the bible expressed the earth in a metaphorical way, especially like that. 1 Samuel 2:8, again taking one piece of writing and ignoring the context completely. “But imagine if tomorrow we discovered that the earth actually was set on pillars! Wouldn’t Christians immediately say the exact opposite?” – no, because then Job would not have written that. Come now…

I don't know about evolution. Look at our bacteria, we now have Superbugs that are killing people. I make good money off of superbugs. If there is evolution, God created it. Period. I love the idea that when God was creating the universe, He had each one of us in mind. At seeing the title of the OP my immediate thought was "the missing link." I see that single link is no longer missing according to the post.

My question is fairly simple, if there were, according to Darwin's theory, a missing link, why is there just ONE link? It seems to me many, according to the theory, would have evolved and interbred leaving entire populations of missing links, but this would only be reasonable to assume.

Another question, why is there no record from cave men to our first written history. That is what history is, the progress of man written.

God makes sense, and Darwin does not. Of course I believe the Word on faith, while those who believe Darwin have actually made him and his theory their god, because they seem to have place faith in him..most of what he has theorized is more full of holes than a colander.

On the contrary, Science has tried to duplicate evolution and the only time is even comes close to working is when there is a NEGATIVE mutation.

For those who are not familiar with it a negative mutation is a mutation that has damaging consequences for the organism; but again Maggie, you are misinformed. There are numerous examples in nature of advantageous mutations, but if you want an example from a lab experiment then read on.

I read about this in Scientific American 30 to 40 years ago and the name of the researcher momentarily eludes me so I couldn't look if up, but I can pass on the results of the experiment. It was actually one of those serendipitous events that results in a major discovery. The researcher was studying amoebas when one of her colonies became infected with an aggressive bacterial pathogen. Rather than toss the works she separated the dead from the dying and eventually the colony returned to health, but upon examination it was discovered the surviving amoebas now carried the pathogen. Interestingly when she removed the former pathogen the amoeba sickened and died, but if she returned the pathogen to the amoeba then the organism recovered its health. Essentially what formed was a new species of amoeba that now required the former pathogen as a necessary organelle. This was fascinating because it led to a new understanding of evolution. In case you are not understanding, the amoeba had to evolve genetically to require the bacterium as a necessary component of its body. Scientists now view mitochondria, the power house in every human cell, as a former invader that like this bacterium in the amoeba we have come to require for our own survival. The genetic evidence for this claim is significant.

Maggie, I am wondering how familiar you actually are with evolution? In just the opening lines of your statement you’ve made two errors that someone who is familiar with evolution would not likely make.
