But Their Hearts Are Far From Me
They Worship Me In Vain,

Jesus was chastising the Pharisees, telling them they
set aside the commands of God to replace them with
their own traditions. As an example, the Pharisees
spotted the apostles of Jesus eating without having
washed their hands. Jesus then said can not defile a
person by what goes in them but what comes out of
them. So from this I wonder if we are to discern what
is God's law and what is man's law. Of course it does
not apply to all churches but some create rules for their
flock to follow and if they don't, they are censured. One
example is tithing, if you don't tithe then you don't fit in
that church. But there are other varied church traditions.
That is why in my view, it is important to not only go to
church to hear but also to let it be an inspiration to read
and apply Christ's teaching in their lives so they can
recognize false prophets and follow Jesus directly.

You have a good line of understanding here I believe. Of course, who am I?

When Jesus advised the Pharisees how to apply the law, He made it clear that any law that does not contain justice mercy and understanding is not to be followed.

If this were not true, He would have been guilty of breaking the law when He argued dthe woman caught in the act of adultery with many wtnesses . She, by sthe law they believed should be followed, was to be sstoned to death……...Jesus did not nor could He ever, break the law in saving this woman from the punishment written for it.

Jesus taught nothng by entring the body corrupts it,s thus rendering dietary laws almost all, invalid.

He teaches we are to love our enemies……..turn the other cheek when smitten on the one, and so much more........…..Ye He teaches He did not come to destroy the law, rather He came to fulfill it.

Any of the remaining moral laws which may fitd into the two great laws of love are obvious to all who are in the Holy Spirit. Any who believe beliving to obey those laws which go together and constitute love of God and Neighbor should not be obeyed are grievously in error. No we do not earn our salvation in so doing but we certainly demonsstrate our respect for our Father.

This is just as true now with many "believers" of Christ, as it was true when Jehovah stated it concerning Israel.
And, this is why: "Stuck in the mud" Christianity"
They become "stuck" to the "Oneness" of the Father which is in Christ. Yet, somehow, don't feel a/the need/duty/responsibility/obligation, of going onwards, as they are confessed to the Father by Christ, to the "Oneness" of "He who sent Christ!"
Which, rather puts the whole "plan of salvation", into a much more "clearer" perspective!
