My dad was probably considered a man's man in that I only saw him cry two times. Once was when my mom died very good reason and the other was when he was in the hospital dying himself knowing he was leaving a 12 year old an orphan....me.... now that is sad too.... for your sad part of the thread.....But my Dad was a tower of strength and I kind of get your free speech idea. It is a good thing when a man can have a soft heart but show strength too. My Dad fit that description and I certainly would not consider him a cry baby.
This is why we are all different it takes a lot of different people to make the world go round. It is o.k. to cry for a man and it is o.k. if he doesn't want to cry the choice is for each man to make on his own and most of us won't think badly about either choice that the man will make.....To cry or not to cry? That is the question.
