like ok

lets say youre thinking of saitama

out of ANYTHING in the world

person place thing or character


id probably guess even if i didnt know you within 15 questions

if youre thinking of something less specific like a cat

i could probably guess in 6 or 7


(but if its a character and i was un aware of the movie or show.... id obviously only narrow it down to character)

But apparently, there is a game of 21 questions and 20 questions. Isn't 20 questions when you think of a topic and another person has to ask yes/no questions within 20 questions and then have to guess what the topic was? Or is that 21 questions? :confused:
 
Well-- although i go by emma, my name is emily... My mom called me ammmeeelleee- as a elongated name. Kinda like the french nickname amélie-- one time she got upset and said "omelette" instead-- it became a thing lol

I used to have the same problem. I solved it by using the oven to make my omelet instead of the cook top. I got my pan hot in the oven, then would put in my eggs and return the pan to the oven for a few minutes under constant watch until the eggs had set, then add my fillings, fold it over, add cheese, and return to the oven for a couple more minutes. Now my omelet making kung-fu is strong.
 
I am bad at remembering a person's name RIGHT after they tell it to me. Like we have already been hanging out for like a few hours, and I'm like, "what is your name again?"

Yup, oftentimes when someone makes another post on here I realize I am bad at more things than I realized...
 
Chemistry. Junk don't make no sense no how.

It took me three tries to finally pass Freshman Chemistry in college as an undergraduate. Three times. It's my biggest academic shame.

Oh man. Totally feel your pain, Yahweh.

My senior year of high school I signed up for Physics. Huge. Mistake. After just the first two exams, my average was a D+, which is the worst I'd ever done in any class.

I had to fight with the principal to let me drop it. I have no idea why he was so insistent that I "tough it out" when I KNEW it was something I'd never get. This was one of my first life lessons in standing my ground when other people tried to tell me what I can and can't do (within reason.) Sometimes you just know yourself better than anyone else.

Fortunately, Physics was an elective. Unfortunately, Chemistry was not, and it was my ultimate downfall when trying to attempt a 4.0.

Same thing with Statistics in grad school...

*Shakes fist at one-sided brain.* I actually think I'm missing the part of the brain that's meant to comprehend both the hard sciences and technology. (Seeing as written communication is my first love, I probably traded it all in for a pen and paper instead. :))

My first career choice would have been the medical field. I would have loved to have done something like genetic research.

But I knew from the start that with my lack of wiring for the hard sciences, any attempt would be doomed.

It's silly to me when I look at my academic performance over the years from the time I first entered school. I would often fail classes, but not because I did poorly on tests or didn't understand the information, but because I refused to do homework. I spent most of junior high and high school on an academic probation where I had to get a sheet signed weekly by each teacher that detailed what I did that week and what homework I was responsible for. Blech!

College was different because I saw the value in it, so I performed up to my potential. I had a 3.9 average in all my math classes, and I took some brain-melting mathematics. I aced both my physics classes. I averaged a B in all my engineering classes like statics, dynamics, fluids, thermo. Somehow though, I struggled constantly with Chemistry. It just didn't register with me. Kind of the same way how this last semester I struggled with Statistics and only squeeked by passing by 3/10 of a percent. Some stuff makes sense, some doesn't.

Names and faces....
I walked to a bank once (As you do...) and saw a lady and her kid. The kid was tugging the ladies hand. The kid seemed to know me. Couldn't think who they were so I smiled as they looked familiar. I walked to the bank and realised who they were. My mum and brother.
