Did you know that normal human communication (talking with each other face to face) is about 80% body language and tone of voice and 20% the words you use?
True!
And face to face, somehow, many are "hindered" to play being rude that way.
Is it something that I hide behind the screen and a keyboard?

I'm interdenominational(not to be interpreted as non-denominational, because I attend and have attended many denominations) and have learned this is just how it is. Every denomination believes they are superior to another, when in actuality they are very much the same. None ever take the time to truly learn the other denominations and their beliefs, from this they misinterpret or misunderstand the beliefs of those denominations. Some discussions really do matter while others are vanity that we shouldn't even waste time on discussing. We can refute arguments according to scripture. Still many of the arguments have to deal with lack of knowledge and we all know what the Bible says about God's people who lack knowledge...
What matters is if what your believing God has taught not man and that you are living the life God has called you to the best you know how.

Brother Tourist, your comment reminds me of a funny incident that happened waaaay back in the 1980's. I was invited to my brother Johnny's church one Sunday evening which also happened to be Superbowl Sunday. His pastor commended the congregation for choosing to attend the evening service rather than remain home to watch the game. He then told the people, "Ok folks, I'm going to reward you all with a few moments of prideful celebration - when I count to three, shout out with all your might the name of your alma mater!"
As soon as he said three, you could hear my brother Johnny's booming voice above everyone as he howled, "SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS!" I laughed through most of the service that night not only because my brother's loud shout out was still reverberating in my brain, but because if the congregation only knew what a rebellious rascal my brother was before the Lord got a hold of him, they would have been in awe.
You know how the sons of Zebedee, James & John were nicknamed "the Sons of Thunder"? Well, my two oldest brothers, James (Jimmy) & John (Johnny) could have been their twins!

The three most important things we need in discussion of the Bible are not found in the OP; love, respect and humility. Quite interesting as you attack "everyone on this forum". Well, "everyone on this forum" happens to include you because the word "everyone" is inclusive meaning you include yourself also. So you not only judged everyone else but you also judged yourself. I'm not perfect but as you just proved neither are you.

Another OP with no Bible verses, and other than a few bright lights and sometimes irrelevant scriptures, we are NOT discussing the Bible.
My thought is perhaps people are tired of grace vs works, so this is a side diversion??
"34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household." Matt 10:34-36
If we want to have real peace in this discussion, then we need to use the Bible, in context! Maybe I should "teach" hermeneutics in a thread, and we could all learn and/or review how to interpret the Bible. In the meantime let us all remember these words when discussions get heated:
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:7

Is it just me, but I think written communication is actually very well focused, because it cuts off all that confusing clutter to interpret. Especially when the picture doesnt match the sound. (so common)
It should be simple to discern without even seeing the person - Luke 6:45

Amen!i was watching a TV preacher the other day say God looks beyond Denomations and it really touched me!but I don't see any wrong with someone saying "I'm a Baptist" "I'm a Pentecostal" "I'm a Methodist" etc. sometimes it's helpful to know someone's denomational preference.
Do you accept denominationalism and reject the bible or accept the bible and rejection denominationalism? You cannot have it both ways, so which do you choose?
