I do like study snacks, being a perpetual learner, but in the study of people mostly. And, btw, I loved, and made some note, of the lesson you recently posted about the Mormon 'telestial' bodies.Would you like some popcorn?![]()
You seem deeply committed to your errors. That’s sad..In reading the bible is not in context. The proof is there are many people in Christianity today who memorize the entire book. And yet they have different interpretation. Because they read certain topic in context.
The words written in the holy bible are not chronological.
God the Father taught is chosen on how to read the Holy Bible which is not to take in context.
ISAIAH 22:10
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
You seem deeply committed to your errors. That’s sad..
You seem deeply committed to your errors. That’s sad..
Then you would do well to take correction from people who have read the entire Bible many times and have been learning from the Father for decades. In my case I was not able to read the entire Holy Bible yet.
But the Holy Spirit guide me where should I read. It is because I follow God the Father teach on how to read the scripture (Isaiah 22:10).
I didn’t say the Bible is chronological, because it isn’t. However, certain parts are. Jesus ascended before the Holy Spirit filled his disciples. If the Holy Bible is chronological and Jesus Christ is the Savior. How would you explain that the chosen of God in the Old Testament saved?
I didn’t say the Bible is chronological, because it isn’t. However, certain parts are. Jesus ascended before the Holy Spirit filled his disciples.
I say exactly what I mean. The Holy Spirit was not guiding the disciples in Matthew 25. The Holy Spirit was not within them at that time. You are employing the fallacy of anachronism, assuming things that were true later to be true earlier. In Matthew 25, the Holy Spirit had not yet filled the disciples, so they could not have been guided by Him. The first part of the chapter is a parable, but the second part is not.
You did not say directly but it is what you mean.
It doesn't mean that the Holy Ghost filled to the disciples in the book of Acts they have no guidance of the Holy Ghost in Matthew 25.
The Holy Ghost already within them when they recognized Jesus by the revelation of the Father (Matthew 16:15-17)
I say exactly what I mean. The Holy Spirit was not guiding the disciples in Matthew 25. The Holy Spirit was not within them at that time. You are employing the fallacy of anachronism, assuming things that were true later to be true earlier.
MATTHEW 25:33-40
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
I WAS A STRANGER, AND YE TOOK ME IN.
Lord Jesus said.
JOHN 3:12
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
For earthly things.
Stranger is a person whom one does not know or with whom one is not familiar.
A person who is not belong to your community.
Who are the strangers in the eyes of God?
For earthly things:
The Strangers are the people who are not living in the same community.
But for heavenly things
For the Chosen of God. The Strangers are those people who are not living in the household of God.
But upon knowing the real Jesus or if the recognition to Jesus is a revelation from the Father. They are no longer strangers in the eyes of God.
EPHESIANS 2:19
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
To understand more he is a demonstration:
Phillip has a chosen he is belong to household. But Nathanael is a stranger, When Phillipi share the truth to Nathanael then in Nathanael heart, Jesus saw that he is admitting he is a stranger. Then Nathanael recognize Jesus by the revelation of the Father and no longer Stranger in the household of God.
JOHN 1:45-49
5 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
The Prisoners in man's understanding are those people who committed crimes and sentenced for imprisonment and now they are in the jail.
But God is referring to spiritual prisoner.
ROMANS 7:14
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Who are the prisoners in the eyes of God?
The prisoners in the eyes of God those who believe and read the words of God but there is no truth in them.
In the New Testaments, they were the Scribes & Pharisees and the Jews. Although their basis of salvation is the words of God in the Old Testament and yet there is no truth in them.
JOHN 8:31-32
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
