I agree that they are not independant but they are not mainstream msm as is normally described because they are not affiliated with CNN, Fox, MSNBC or similar. These are small local TV statio ns all owned by one big corporation that are telling them what to say. It is wrong but not exactly a conspiracy. If you look at who and what Sinclair broadcast is you might find that they traditionally support right wing and pro Trump agend.
