I agree with everything Taylor says about the NAR, Independent Charismatic Christianity, and Christian Nationalism. I don't know if I'm completely on board with his motivations though.

He's a scholar and a pluralist. He's a "senior scholar" at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, Jewish Studies. His big thing is interfaith dialogue. I don't agree with the NAR, but neither do I really go in for interfaith dialogue. I believe in preaching the gospel. Taylor says one of his goals is to reduce Islamophobia. I agree Muslims in the US have a right to live without fear of persecution; however, I'm not sure how far Taylor's beliefs go. Does he believe Islam or Judaism are just as valid as Christianity? I don't know. His profile on the ICJS website says he's a Protestant; but I don't know how a true Christian could believe Islam or Judaism are just as valid as Christianity.

I agree with Taylor that the US is pluralistic, allowing for many religions not just one. So I agree with his assessment that the NAR and Christian Nationalism pose a threat to democracy. But the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend necessarily.

It seems, were all to dialogue in truth, all would come to Yeshua HaMashiach, but that is me thinking in terms that all would understandeach other.

So, you support an all-inclusive, one world religion? Or am I reading that wrong?

In short, that's not what I support or meant. It might help if you could point out specifically what I said that makes you think that, then maybe I can clear it up.

I have to apologize now. I was in a poor frame of mind when I posted that.
