You DEMAND? Seriously? Why not just humbly ASK for an apology, instead of DEMANDING one?

Hey all I'm a Christian and a Sinner. I have yet to run into anyone who is perfect. Do I enjoy sinning? Nope not at all. Do I continue in the sin? Nope, I turn to God to help me fight the temptations Satan throws at me.
If I choose to fight temptations by myself I am done before I even begin. And yes I still resort to pride of doing this myself and I never win.
As Christians should we strive for perfection? I believe we should and this involves a close relationship with the Lord through His Word. But then again I have my flesh to contend with and the attacks of Satan.
Just my thoughts.

I did not miss anything...I read it twice....my point goes to this "we cannot use Daniel" as an example.....and I understand what he said.....sure we are to strive and get more faithful in our walk and we can master over sin, but we will never be SINLESS until we have a glorified body...........the cited examples in this thread proves this.......and yes...everyone of them us applicable and usable as an example......
I'd like one of these people to have a camera follow them around for a month. They couldn't even do it then. A crack would inevitably show in their "foundation". Lol. The only way I can feasibly see that someone is completely without pride or ego or self righteousness is when they are on the operating table knocked out cold.....

I can't see that Ben is saying that Daniel wasn't saved. He says that he wasn't born again as we are in the New Covenant.
For me he is saved because he knew what was coming. A man of faith.
When we look at Hebrews 11 this sticks out

Born again and saved are synonymous.....David speaks to the joy of salvation and guidance of the Holy Spirit...IMV
I didn't say that dcontroversal. I just said he didn't live his life being the temple of the Holy Spirit, having been born again. Though the Holy Spirit may have came upon him, He did not reside inside of him.
Many Christians still struggle with sin, unfortunately, and we all have our own sin that is currently being worked out through God's process of sanctification. No matter how big or small.
Yet, lets not make excuses and normalize sinning. Not to put on a show, and make us all hypocrites, but to walk as we should. You are righteous in Christ. Made a new creation, dead to sin and alive unto God. So live in such a way, having partaken in Christ's death and resurrection. You are no longer a slave to sin, its dominion has been broken. So while we may at times fall short, this doesn't mean that we abide in sin. As I know you'll agree.
Have you forgotten the price of our liberty? The Son of God died upon that cross, shedding His blood for you. Where is our reasonable service? Shall we just continue to sin simply because His grace is sufficient? Of course not. I know you know that. We don't need to make excuses as to why we still sin, but need to seek God to come to the realization of being set free and having Him sanctify us. So yes, believers still sin, but that doesn't somehow justify the sin as perfectly fine. God wants us to walk in holiness, and righteously.
I understand making peace with the fact that we still sin, so as to not torment out hearts with condemnation. This is a wonderful truth that in Christ there is no condemnation. Yet, again, do not fall asleep. Get up and push onward. Don't just accept the sin that is in your life, but pray God liberates you from it. We Christians should desire righteousness and hate sin, we don't need to make excuses for its existence in our lives. Rather, we need to give it to God that He may sanctify us, as willing vessels.
In short, we shouldn't get complacent. To just accept sin as normative and therefore ignore it. That is my point. God will chastise, He will sanctify. That is a beautiful truth. To be transformed. Glory to God.

Do you ever notice when we stop reading the Word and spending time with the Lord more things happen to us or we start becoming more worldly? I recently started another job and I work basically 7 days a week 12 hours a day. I have spent a lot less time with the Lord and have noticed my attitude has changed, I slip up some with language due to co-workers using curse words all the time.
Even if this wasn't my situation, I still have every day life to contend with and for someone to come out and say they never sin is a total lie. I believe this is what the Pharisees were doing and Jesus was pretty straight forward concerning them.

If you do a word study on the scripture that says we sit with Him in heavenly places...you will see the greek is saying that we are above our flesh nature...the position of righteousness through faith.
Ben is speaking about the life in the Spirit too. It was a great post.
All I know is that DANIEL was saved....he was a man of faith...walked more righteously than MOST...and GOD makes a special statement about HIS righteousness being able to deliver him.....yet he confessed sin....HE can be used as a OT believer who still had sin though he walked very faithfully before GOD ....my point was valid....sorry if I misunderstood what you were implying....!
