Very well said and by far the best responce i have ever seen up to now... well they dont call me the rocket for nothing lol.... any hows i know when gods comes to call me ill be ready... now seing as youve posted some great scripture could you answer me this... has your eternal life been declared yet. and do you hope for eternal life.. because im sure the etermal life that is in you would want to hear that..

Yes, my eternal life is declared. My eternal life is based upon Jesus Christ. So to deny my eternal life would be to deny Jesus Christ.
I am sealed for the day of redemption. So I hope/am SURE/Certain of a future glorified body.
I don't know about anyone else but I can't earn my salvation or hope that I'm saved.
I spent many years hoping I was saved. For 15 years I woke up every morning at 2 and could get back to sleep worrying if I was saved. I even asked God to my life, so I would know where I was going, yet still believing he would take care of my wife and 4 kids.
Led to depression, fear, anxiety and questioning.
That's not hope it's fear, an unhealthy fear which leads to an unhealthy relationship with our saviour.

What verse are you referring to? Because I could honestly answer that as yes and no.
Follow me close. I am redeemed, at this moment, in Christ. Born-again. A spiritual birth. My new creation in Christ.
I will be redeemed in a physical glorified body at the Bema seat of Christ after my physical body dies.
I know mental illness up close and personal. It shaped my teenage years,
and it largely why I searched out Christ.
I know what it is to spend hours talking through lovingly with a person their
ideas, and trying to find a solution.
Over the last 40 years the only solution has been medication and love.
Medication stops the trauma, lack of sleep, running around the streets, phoning
up the police and making absurd accusations.
Now if you meet other families who have faced this, you know what versions of
insanity mean, how a soul can be broken and shattered, yet Gods love still can
shine through. Now these things come about when people are fragile growing up
and have no chance to develop proper emotional reference points and when pressure
comes they fall apart. I know one family where all three children were dramatically
effected, two permanently disabled and one a recluse.
Some wonder how I am normal, a relative term, when the others are so strange.
And then you learn this is actually very common, and building your house upon the
rock is also about true mental stability as opposed to being shattered and the house
falling down.
A simple example is. A child falls over and starts to cry. Do you laugh at their
distress, or go over to comfort them, check how they are, and help them regain
their confidence. I know what it means to see and check how they are, reach out
and connect or the other side, stand off, and have no clue this is time to reassure
and help. Now the laughing comes from a childhood of being abandoned with no
sympathy, and you just made do. But it leaves real scars, and your kids find it
hard to not be scared themselves.
Now in Christ we have an opportunity to help people heal and grow, to be a real
family, for them to know we care, at a very deep level, and there is no limit if we
can to help. Now these realities I know not because it is theory, I have lived it
and seen it. It changes you when you both have been healed and you have helped
others grow and flourish with loving support. This is not a nice add on, it is part
of being in Gods Kingdom.
And I share not because I am boasting, but because these issues matter, and hurting
people need loving help, a helping hand, someone who can take a burden.
But maybe dear reader this is all alien to you. I want to encourage you, this is the
eternal nature of the Lord at work, bearing one anothers weaknesses and serving
others through His body.
well i can see your sincere and i can see that you know you havent been redeemed yet Good answer.
Now do you hope to be redeemed to i really hope that you do... cause other wise you will be taking your redeement for granted.
As the bible states we will all fall away,, The ones who perseveres to the end and keeps the faith wont.. now if you cant see see this where both never going to agree.. to which i will say im taking no more part in carrying on in the dicusssion unless we can see eye to eye that you are to hope for redeement.

Again, the word Hope in the N.T. means an assurance of something guaranteed.....it is not the hope that is being peddled by some here. The hope they are peddling I like one who buys a lottery ticket and they HOPE they win....

We are saved right now
We are continuing to be saved into the future
A present continuing result from a past completed action........<---this is what the bible teaches by verb tense!
Sirk - It breaks my heart to hear you speak like this. Walking in openness and honesty,
in love and truth is not a standard, or a rule book, it is being who you are.
If you get cut you bleed, if you are sad you cry, if you are happy you laugh.
You talk as if I am saying be something you are not, pretend to be in the Kingdom,
when I am saying, believe Christ and obey. And through obedience you will change,
you will sow and reap a new person. Now if you do not believe this, then nothing
will change and it will appear to you to be true.
And there is the irony. You become in Jesus what you believe.
Hunger and thirst for righteousness and you will be filled.
Purify your hearts and you will be pure.
See God and you will know wisdom and freedom.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Ask the Lord to help and He will make it possible.
Do everything in your own strength and fail, commune with
Christ and walk together and you will succeed.

What cheap lies? YOU are the one saying your hoping for eternal life. Jesus Christ IS eternal life.
If you don't have eternal life, real life eternal life right now............Christ is not real to you yet.
And that's compassion buddy. Get saved. Get eternal life. Because Christ is eternal life.
