It's crazy DC. Here we are saying we have to forgive all the time, no matter what. Even if we don't get a personal apology........and we are the bad guys? Who would of thunk it?
But we know, if our message is taken to heart........that's what God does. And it doesn't fit loss of salvation theology.
So it has to be rejected on all sides.
I hear ya bro....remember the Pharisees.....vehemently stood against the truth all while claiming spiritual superiority, self righteousness and always doing what was biblical......then they broke the law and had Jesus killed..........for preaching the truth!

The sin issue between us and God has been resolved, trying to calculate sin as an equation (less to more, severe to not so severe) is us actually accounting for our sin.
That is counter to trusting in what God has already accomplished.
If we fully trust God then we don't focus on our sin (type, frequency etc). That leads to a comparison of sin, i.e your sin is worse than my sin, so I am better than you. aka religious pride.
Our focus needs to be on our relationship with God, eyes toward Him. A side effect of that relationship leads to a reduction of sin in our lives.
God does NOT have an accounting system for our sin. Propitiation actually derives from an accounting term that means off the books forever. If we trust and rest in Gods completed work for us, we already have EVERYTHING we need for life and godliness.

The rewards you get for being Good has nothing to do with feeling you have earned them.. the rewards are a token Of Gods appreciation..
Now do you hope to see Gods appreciation ,,, or would you rather see his wrath ?....

The Grace of God has nothing to do with rewards and wrath, all of that is under the Law of God, and are concerns of the flesh, not the spirit. What can you possibly do for God that will earn his appreciation? You must be pretty awesome?
If you wish to follow the Law, you should really go for it, and I mean REALLY go for it.
You will eventually realize (hopefully) that you cannot please God enough, and that you will always be cursed because you will continually fall short of His glory.
He will always be displeased and disgusted with you, you will mostly fail and then you can come back to Grace and live under the mercy of God, who HAS given us everything we need for life and godliness.
And then you will truly live under the New Covenant of God, as a new creation. Truly thankful for what He accomplished for us.

I'd rather have relationship with Him which was the whole purpose in the first place.....and what Jesus came and restored.

I checked four different versions (NIV, KJV, NASB, ESV)
and got 0 Bible results for “appreciation.”

Where youre at with me? You're a stranger on the internet who I have now idea as to motivation, I really have no idea if you're are friend or foe...thats pretty much where you're at with me.
You're probably just a nice guy like me who sometimes talks tough on the internet. Lol But there is no way to know that for sure really.
