"I choose to consider God as my Higher Power, I find this to be the reality
in guidance of the Holy Spirit in my life, as this influence is an inspiration
to behold, so long as I maintain a spiritual heart. I have come to learn that
a spiritual heart is an essential requirement in equipping myself with hopefully
doing what is right."
'It surely is being witnessed what takes place without a spiritual heart, a falling away
from God, and worldly foolishness that which brings confusion, separation, and great
untruths at the hands of those that are out of their element.'
"For many, a spiritual awakening shall not come. The worldly heart is separate from a Spiritual heart."
"I believe the grace of God has surely been active in my life, and most often
not knowing it. Some may claim luck was involved in certain life events, which may be problematic.
Now having God as part of my life, I declare that some extraordinary events that have
happened in my life were unusual and surely were instrumental in my life being changed.
With that, I believe God's grace is a divine gift and should not be dismissed or ignored with complacency."
'Here, I believe there are many who use the thought of grace loosely and without some
spiritual enlightenment, the full understanding of grace becomes an abstract thought.'
"Declared gifts from God should never be conceived as normal, for they represent a love
without end. God's love is a tough love that brings profound challenges that require discipline and self-control."
"On numerous occasions, I have mentioned how selfishness and self-centeredness
was not compatible with my personal life, causing unnecessary unhappiness and strife in personal relationships.
Thank God, my spiritual journey has brought about a different attitude and conduct that
has brought the family together in a loving and positive atmosphere. "Amen"
'Doing away with any hindrance that causes strife shall always be a challenge, especially with
an attitude of unwillingness to change. And not just one person but all involved. Families are being
torn apart from this malady...unwilling to change. Dysfunctional families often being caused
by selfishness and self-centeredness with the unwillingness to change.'
"Failure to practice the inspired wisdom of Christ's teachings could surely be considered selfish and/or self-centered."
"Walk all the way with another person and with God. Do not go part of the way and then stop.
Do not push God so far into the background that He has no effect on your life. Walk all the way with Him.
Make a good companion of God, by praying to Him often during the day. Do not let your contact with Him
be broken for too long a period. Work all the way with God and with other people along the path of life,
wherever it may lead you."
'The truth of this profound truth should be deeply ingrained in the very core of one's being. The core of a person
is the most essential, basic, or enduring part of them, such as their beliefs or the seat of their deepest emotions and thoughts.'
"Eliminating selfishness and self-centeredness may well be the answer to experience God as a close companion in this life...
here in the now...believe it."
"Success is a relative term that can be defined in many ways, and it can mean different
things to different people. I have known success and failure, this is a part of life that I
am aware of to reflect on. I am glad for the success that enhanced parts of my life, and then again
some of my failures were not good times. I am glad that when unsuccessful, I found different
approaches to overcome a problem. Always I knew it was myself who had to find a different approach
when something was not working out as hoped."
'I am surely thankful for the "Spiritual happening" that helped me to succeed in turning my
life around. Only I and God are surely involved in the extraordinary event that forever brought
change to a life that was out of control. As stated before, no words are adequate, and no need to
attempt to prove anything. I know what is needed to know, no more...no less.' "Amen"
"I believe this to be a great truth. Being born again is not a physical rebirth but a spiritual transformation — a renewal that is
essential for entering the kingdom of God."
"Make no mistake, brought up in a Christian atmosphere, I had an awareness about God.
And that is about all I can say of my life before my spiritual awakening. And now my life has
greatly changed dramatically since this spiritual journey began, now well over two decades ago." "Amen"
'This inner "God-consciousness" is surely enhanced with one's spiritual maturity. And without
a definable spiritual awareness, most likely a grounded God Consciousness surely shall be seldom
and without little influence in one's life, merely because worldliness is the prevailing influence in many
lives. Words on many pages may well be evident that the "light" has been darkened by worldliness.'
"The "voice" most likely shall not be heard when hearts of darkness are prevalent."
"Faith also is confidence that God's promises shall be somewhat fulfilled in this
lifetime. I believe faith and trust are experienced when acting upon God's inspired
wisdom, that by doing so my life has found a new and better way of conducting my life
far better than my old selfish way of things. And I know each day to be a challenge."
'My quiet time of prayer each day I thank God. I am well aware that Spiritual harmony
in this restless world should never be ignored.'
"A prayer of gratitude to God shall be unlikely without the leading of a Spiritual heart."
"In Thy presence is fullness of joy. At Thy right hand are pleasures forevermore" Spiritually Inspired. "It means the greatest and most complete joy can only be found in God's presence. Being close to God brings eternal happiness and satisfaction, symbolized by the "right hand."
'It is not so much you, as the grace of God in you, that helps those around you. If you would help even those you dislike, you have to see that there is nothing in you to block the way, to keeping God's grace from using you. Your own pride and selfishness are the greatest blocks. Keep those out of the way and God's grace will flow through you into the lives of others. Then all who come in contact with you can be helped somehow. Keep the channel open, free from those things that make your life futile and ineffective.'
'Reflecting on life, it is not too difficult to believe that perhaps things experienced were for a purpose, to be prepared for valuable work. Everything in this life may well have been planned by God to be more useful to the world. 'That's a profound perspective. Many people find comfort and meaning in the belief that their experiences, both good and bad, are part of a larger plan. It can be empowering to think that every challenge and triumph has shaped you into who you are today, preparing you for a unique purpose. Whether one believes in a divine plan or simply in the power of personal growth, it's a beautiful way to find value in life's journey.
"Value of life comes to light with Spiritual growth, here in the now. So long as the heart is right."
'Admitting helplessness before the prayer for God will be heard. It must be recognized before asking God for the strength to meet that need. It is not theological arguments that solve the problems of the questing soul, but the sincere cry of that soul to God for strength and the certainty of that soul that the cry will be heard and answered.'
'This statement means that to truly receive God's help through prayer, one must first acknowledge one's inability to solve one's certain problems independently. Essentially, one must come to God with a humble and dependent attitude, recognizing that one's only hope lies in His power and intervention.'
"Vacant of the Holy Spirit, prayers likely to go nowhere."
Twenty-Four Hours a Day 'In our time of meditation, we again seem to hear: "Come unto me, all ye that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Again and again, we seem to hear God saying this to us "Come unto me" for the solution of every problem, for the overcoming of every temptation, for the calming of every fear, for all our needs, physical, mental, or spiritual, but mostly "come unto me" for the strength we need to live with peace of mind and the power to be useful and effective.'
"My inspiration sharing mainly comes from readings from Twenty-Four Hours a Day.
And all the years of my daily reading from this book have been, is, and will remain my daily reading because
the words are my lifeline with God's Spirit. My personal experience is mine and mine alone.
As with each, our lives are unique and separate, nothing will change this truth."
'I believe with all my heart, something many seem unable to grasp...a spiritual awakening
and awareness is not going to happen to everyone, Christian and/or otherwise to truthfully be realistic.
My life was altered by an extraordinary event and this has been shared, I leave it there, as I find
it unnecessary to attempt to explain to anyone, which is impossible. I can only share what is on the heart.'
'I surely am not special in any way. I once was lost, and now I am found. By the grace of God,
the Holy Spirit came upon my life twenty-five years ago, and has remained as guidance in my life...here in the now.
I came...I came to...I came to believe. 'Bingo' Believe I need God, OK.
'Divine Intention means living fully in each moment, expressing our highest potential without reservation or concealment. Divine Intention is not something set, it is something one may discover already in self.'
'I believe that attaining any sense of Divine Intention surely requires putting away any part of worldliness that hinders the ability to carry out righteous intent for the good of self as well as hopefully in support and encouragement to those struggling with life issues.'
'Disturbing as it is, it appears some modern-day Christians have taken it upon themselves to inadvertently and/or otherwise to rearrange the meaning and intended purpose of the Divine "readings' to the exercise of being self-appointed to insert worldly focus material over the spiritual reality of truth.'
"Spiritual reality and truth can be defined as the experience of what is real and the belief in a transcendent reality that can't be perceived physically."
'The spiritual heart is one in which gratitude, wisdom, intuition, and interconnections radiate in myriad ways, not merely in the metaphors of time immemorial, but with radical consequences that extend beyond one's self to other living beings, to Nature, and to the pattern of all things.'
Characteristics of a healthy spiritual heart.
'Scripture shows how a healthy heart is one led by God's Spirit, and Galatians 5:22-23 provides some specific examples: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. A healthy heart is ruled by God's Spirit, not our flesh.'
"When two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them."(Spiritually Inspired)
'The Spirit of God comes upon His followers when they are all together at one time, in one place, and with one accord.
When two or three consecrated souls are together at a meeting place, the Spirit of God is there to help and guide them.
Where any sincere group of people are together, reverently seeking the help of God, His power and
His Spirit is there to inspire them.'
"I am thankful for God's Spirit in my life." "Amen"
'When a group of people acts in harmony, in unity, and without dissent, they are operating in one accord.
Sadly, this appears to be a rarity when ego and/or contentious attitudes are present. Not one shall find
any worthy benefit of any lasting value.'
'Words spoken, to the quiet followers who serve God unobtrusively yet faithfully, who bear their crosses bravely and put a smiling face to the world. "Enter into the joy of Thy Lord." Pass into that fuller spiritual life, which is a life of joy and peace.'
'The joy of The Lord, which is the gladness of heart comes from knowing God, abiding in Christ, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Let us know him in every aspect, in our decision-making, actions, and behaviors, and communicate with him daily, he is the foundation of our life.'
'I believe solid truth comes out in these words. Thankfully I have come to learn and know the benefits of earnestly striving to acquire spiritual discipline which requires perseverance in acting upon the fundamental principles depicted within the attributes of the "fruit of the Spirit"... so long as being by the Holy Spirit in this life...here in the now.'
'The glory of the Lord shines in the beauty of one's character. It has risen in you, even though you can only realize it in part. "Now you see as in a glass darkly, but later you will see face to face." The glory of the Lord far exceeds for mortals to see fully on earth. But some of this glory is risen in one's self when earnestly striving to reflect that light in one's life, that others may see and come to know of.'
'The "character" of language put forth often may disclose that there are those that actually
have not witnessed enough change in their lives to share the "good news" of the Holy Spirit in their life.'
"When the Holy Spirit comes, there is a joy to behold and to share."
'Often a few words have more meaning than a full page of ramblings in nothingness.'
'The 'spirit of stupor' renders an individual into a deep spiritual sleep, in which their spiritual eyes are blind, their spiritual ears are deaf, and their hearts are insensitive to the Holy Spirit.' (Isaiah, 6:8-11, Matthew 13: 13-15, Romans 11:8-10.)
'In these times of quiet meditation, try more and more to set your hopes on the grace of God. Know that whatever the future may hold, it will hold more and more good things. Do not set all your hopes and desires for material things. There is weariness in an abundance of things. Set your hopes on spiritual things so that you may grow spiritually. Learn to rely on God's power more and more and in that reliance, you will have an insight into the greater value of the things of the spirit.'
'I believe until one is truly "born again"...many there are that surely will not be spiritually
conscious enough to know the profound distinction between spiritual and worldly.
I believe being born again is a spiritual rebirth that refers to a new relationship with God, and brings
cause of the willingness to change accordingly, always striving to practice the inspired wisdom of Christ.'
"Spiritual" refers to the non-physical aspects of life, relating to the soul, inner thoughts, and a connection
to something beyond the physical world, while "worldly" refers to the material and physical aspects of life,
focused on earthly concerns and possessions, often contrasting with spiritual values; essentially, "spiritual" is
about the inner self and higher meaning, while "worldly" is about the external world and material pursuits,
and/or the ego agenda.'
"We cannot always oblige, but we can always speak obligingly." 'Sometimes we forget that we’re all special people in each other’s lives for a purpose. Our Higher Power has guaranteed us love, growth, and support. In return, we’re expected to treat our fellow travelers respectfully and courteously. Abrupt or harsh comments put people on the defensive and strain communication. Then none of us feels the support and love we need from one another.'
'We can ease a friend or co-worker’s troubles today by quietly and calmly relying on our Higher Power to help us in our conversations. When we are troubled, we don’t need to project our tenseness or anxiety to everyone around us. If we share our words in a loving tone, we will gain esteem for ourselves and show love to the other person. It’s really so easy to decide to honor one another in this way. In the process, we are honoring God, too.'
