I do believe it's a disorder. I do believe it's sin. And sin that falls under or outright can be labelled disorder doesn't excuse the fact that it's sin.
That being said, like any kind of sin these people need to be shown the truth in Christ's name. They need support, not in their sin nor in compromising and watering down truth, but support to know they are STILL human beings in need of a savior. And that there's hope for those dark feelings and it's not vain things you can do to your body or outside image.
It's not a politically correct problem, it's a heart and sin problem.

There is two types one is disorders, the other is birth defects. Which one is right only God knows. we should not judge or presume one is either. Take the hermaphrodite clearly is a birth defect but which sex should this defect should be again it's between God and the person. Now if one was born with a no visual defect doesn't mean there's not a defect present. If a person chooses to be homosexual this is a disorder but there again back to square one is it a disorder or defect. Both party's involved could be both disordered or just one is disordered or both are defective. Truly only God knows these answers to which one is a disorder or defect.

Some years ago I watched a documentory about this subject. It stated that we are born with a small area of the brain that
gives us Gender Identity. This area is normally larger in Males than Females. Scientists did a survey of several hundred homosexual men and women and found that all of them without exception had the wrong size of brain area ie the mens area appeared female and the womens male. They concluded that Homosexuality and the desire to be of the opposite sex was due to this physical abnormality they were born with. I am not a Doctor or Scientist but feel that this may be a valid explanation.

I’m going to put this here since the op was talking about Bruce Jenner...and Ellen Page is an actress.
Ellen Page the actress who starred in Juno..which actually was a good movie about keeping the pregnancy and adopting the baby out..anyway..she came out as gay and married a woman. Now, however she has decided she is a man and changed her name to Elliot. Her wife initially supported her ’transition’ but they are now going to divorce.
How weird is this...people were wondering how the marriage was going to work since they said they were lesbians and now that Elliot said she is a man...are they still lesbians or a heterosexual couple? Even in the comments to the article people were saying that they knew it wouldn’t work because the wife is a lesbian. How messed up is the world when people think that just because a person thinks they are a man instead of a woman that there whole gender is now changed in people’s minds? We are living in crazy times!!

I think its people who think they were born in the wrong bodies...a man thinks he’s actually a woman and a woman who actually think she’s a man. It’s more than wants to be.

I think these two posts together paint the picture nicely. First you've got a guy saying how they aren't hurting anyone, so leave them alone. Then a few years later we can see how wrong the first guy was because the sodomites have gained enough influence in our society that they now are indeed able to hurt people via government action.
Don't want to bake a cake celebrating sodomy? Government will come after you!

I admit I used to be of the "live and let live" camp. Now I have seen the error of my former ways. If I was in charge I would absolutely make homosexuality a capital offense because of its destructive influence on the culture. And I think that's why God calls it an abomination and said how they need to be executed and such. I have come to think God was right about this. Amazing!

I think you will find that most people that change sex do so because they are not happy with their birth sex. It is supposed to solve their problems but when they find that it doesn't and that happens all the time they want to revert back to what they are, not what they want to be.
It has been pointed out that a lot of transgenders are autistic and some have ADD. That can give you challenges which if you are not au fay with them can send you down the psychological gurgler. I am autistic but I major on its benefits not its problems. The problems are what they are and others have to accept that fact and get used to it. I don't lose any sleep over it.
Th experts in the field of asutism say that others have to change because autistic people cannot, so they have to accomodate their responses to the autistic persons responses. if more people did this in all probability a lot of people would not want to change their sex.
Changing your sex won't make you not autistic or not have ADD so you might as well forget it and work out how to live a full life as you are.

If you do any research on the statistics for LGBT people. You will find they have a lot more STDs, domestic violence, mental health issues, shorter life expectancies, higher levels of drug and alcohol abuse.
Any stat you can find is negative, that should tell even the secular mind something. Even though most of this has been explained by them being so oppressed. Correct me if I am wrong, but how is being pushed on every TV-show, magazine and all over the music industry and having all the money considered oppression?

Do you think this happens because they are trying to change reality and reality can’t really be changed? Even if they get everyone to agree that what they do or think is ok...they aren’t really going to escape what God says....and I don’t think they understand this.
