More Eternal Security Truth !


All believers , before believing, had been given to Jesus Christ [Election] by His Father Jn 17:6

6I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

This being given to Christ is not limited to them as Apostles, but it speaks of their Eternally being Chosen in Him Eph 1:4, and were given as His Spiritual Seed, His Body the Church, and He made their Surety in the Everlasting Covenant !

Besides that, they were as those Jude spoke of as preserved in Jesus Christ, and then called ! Jude 1:1, that did not apply only to the Apostles, but to all the Beloved of God !

And it says of them who the Father gave to Christ vs 6, that He [Christ] keeps them as per Jn 17:12

12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

This word kept is the same exact word as in Jude 1:1 where it is translated preserved !

Those who are kept or preserved in or by Christ are kept from first and foremost from everlasting wrath and condemnation, as well as from Apostasy from the Truth, and are kept unto their final and ultimate partaking of their Eternal Salvation and Redemption. This Ultimate Salvation comes at the Second Coming of Christ, so we have scriptures like Rom 13:11

11And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Lk 21:28

28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Heb 9:28

28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The First time Christ appeared on Earth, He appeared with Sin ! No, not His own Sin, for then He was without sin, but He appeared with the sins of His People He came to die for having been imputed upon Him ! He appeared to be made a sin offering for their sins ! But that will not be the case at His Second time coming to this Earth ! It will be for the ushering in of His People's final and consummate Salvation!

1 Pet 1:5

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Notice here, Peter said they are being [present tense passive voice] kept by the power of God ! Did you know that Christ is also the power of God ? 1 Cor 1:24

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The believer is being kept in the Faith by the Power of God, unto their Salvation to be revealed in the Last time, His second Coming.

If a believer, a True believer, looses this sure prospect, then all these scripture promises comes to nought and God's word has been proven to be false, which makes God a Liar ! Because scripture is a Testimony of what God has said !

Rom 16:25

Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

True believers never depart from the Faith, that is apostatize, because God is Faithful to keep them from evil 2 Thess 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

This was promised as a Covenant Blessing Jer 32:40

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

To keep a person from departing from God is to keep them from evil Heb 3:12

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

God keeps His Believing people from evil by His Faithfulness, and by His Power He establishes them in the Faith by His Gospel.

He makes them constant and unwavering. The word stablish in vs 25 is the greek word stērizō:


to make stable, place firmly, set fast, fix

2) to strengthen, make firm

3) to render constant, confirm, one's mind

Notice to render constant, or faithful , or steadfast and unwavering.

Its of His Power, His Ability, not theirs, that He causes them to be Faithful in the Gospel !

That's why Jesus said of His Believing Sheep Jn 10:4-5


4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

You see that ? God's Power ensures that Promise for all God's Believing Sheep ! If one departs from the Faith say as 1 Tim 4:1

1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

You see that ? Those could not have been Sheep that Jesus spoke of in Jn 10:5

Nor could they have been those whom God establishes by His Power through the Gospel.

Neither were they partakers of the Everlasting Covenant of Jer 32:40

That Everlasting Covenant is simply the Blood of the everlasting Covenant Heb 13:20-21

21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Now notice that it is the Blood of the Great Shepherd of the Sheep. This is the same Shepherd that said in Jn 10:5 that a stranger they will not follow, or they will not depart from the Shepherd. Now is that not a promise of the Everlasting Covenant of Jer 32:40 ?

John 10:4-5 a stranger will they not follow


John 10:4-5

A Stranger they will not follow, that is a Promise !

If Jesus, who is also God, makes a assertion, it is sure to true. Once a Sheep of Christ is converted to Him, they will not follow after false doctrines anymore, not ever !

Now the reason why this is True, is because once converted to the acknowledgment of the Truth, they are being preserved from all the errors of the wicked. Ps 37:28

For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Sheep, Believers in Christ are Saints, and it is written they are preserved forever ! It is the hebrew word shamar and means:

to keep, guard, observe, give heed

to keep, guard, keep watch and ward, protect, save life

The NT counter part is 2 Thess 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

That word keep is phylassō and it means:

to guard

a) to watch, keep watch

b) to guard or watch, have an eye upon: lest he escape

c) to guard a person (or thing) that he may remain safe

This is why Jesus says If Possible they [false teachers] should deceive the very elect Matt 24:24

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The word deceive here is the greek word planaō which means:


to cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way

a) to go astray, wander, roam about

2) metaph.

a) to lead away from the truth, to lead into error, to deceive

b) to be led into error

c) to be led aside from the path of virtue, to go astray, sin

d) to sever or fall away from the truth

1) of heretics

e) to be led away into error and sin


It is impossible for the Sheep,once converted to the Truth, to be led away into error, sure it may be attempted, but it will not prosper !

Neither can they go astray, that is choose to leave the Truth, if they be True Sheep.

All this is made sure not because they were so smart, or wise or intelligent, but because of the Work of Christ alone on their behalf !56

The Believer in Christ is Eternally Secure is seen all through scripture, with promises such as 2 Thess 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

The promise is not that the believer shall be kept from evil by his own faithfulness, but that God, the Lord is Faithful to not only keep you from evil, but to positively stablish you.

This Promise is seen also in the OT Scripture Ps 121:1-8

1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Notice it says in vs He shall preserve thy Soul ! What a Great Blessing, because left up to me I would destroy my own soul.

Prov 6:32

But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.


So God promises that His Saints shall not destroy his own soul59

If John did not believe in the Eternal Security of God's Beloved Children, then why did He write this ? 1 Jn 3:1-2

Where in the scripture does it say millennial inheritance can be lost? Please provide passages that clearly state so.

Starfield, I do apologize for it taking me a while to answer your question. But I think I may have found the answer in the Scriptures. And here it is.

Basically in the following passage of Scripture, Jesus tells a parable to His disciples that is pointed at the Millennial Kingdom.


11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

Now I do want to first point out that I am aware that this passage is doctrinally pointed at the Jews, but I do believe that it is also leaning toward the Church Age. Because if you notice, this unprofitable servant was not cast into Hell. But the unprofitable servant in Matthew was. Here is the parable in Matthew:



14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

So as you can see Starfield, the unprofitable servant in Matthew 25 is cast into Hell. And I thought it was interesting that the unprofitable servant in Luke 19 was not, but I think it is because of the fact that Jesus, being that He is God Almighty already knew that the Jews were going to reject Him and His offer of the Kingdom. Hence, it is likely that He had begun to shift His focus a little toward the Church Age. Even in His parables. Again, this is a very, very interesting study. And I just want to thank you for your question in regard to the loss of Millennial Inheritance.


Now while the word Millennial does not show up in the Scriptures, Inheritance certainly does.

Here are some Scriptures that show the inheritance of the saints:


11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: - Ephesians 1:11 (KJV)

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. - Ephesians 1:14 (KJV)

3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. - Ephesians 5:3-5 (KJV)

Amen,=for it id God that does it through the believer that sees the whole cross, death, resurrection and ascension
Death took all sin away to present the one that believes Holy before God the Father, then God the Father gives new live in the Spirit of God by the same resurrected Christ. It is a gift, and all credit goes to God.
I am nothing more than God's vessel at my free will, once seeing the whole truth, what Christ did for us all, if only we will believe, and quit the works program of self, dying to self by co-crucifixion with Christ, dead to self and alive to God.
Amazingly, today the only way God can be worshipped
John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

So one must be born again in the Spirit of God, and God is the only one that can do this, and we are shown this by the death, burial as proof of the death, the resurrection as new life, that God gives, and the ascension, so we can be by God by belief be born again.

Eternal Redemption for Us !


Heb 9:12

This Eternal Redemption for all whom Christ died, it ensures for them Eternal Glory ! The word redemption here means:

a ransoming, redemption

2) deliverance, esp. from the penalty of sin

Its an everlasting deliverance from the penalty of sin ! No sin can ever be laid to the charge of God's Elect !

So all these are Called unto obtaining their Eternal Inheritance Heb 9:15

15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Paul says it like this elsewhere 1 Thess 2:12

That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

2 Thess 2:14

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter writes 1 Pet 5:10

Homward,,, I understand you hate your flesh,,,,,,but it seems you are a bit overboard on this whole flesh thing. It seems you despise the flesh terribly,, but when it becomes hungry,like the rest of us, we sure know how to satisfy our flesh at the dinner table, don't we?

God made us. Our flesh is not satanic. Our flesh can do nothing,, unless that BRAIN that CONTROLS the flesh is compelled into action by thought!

I love my body. It's wonderfully made. Amazingly complicated, as is yours and everybody else!

Actually a little deeper that just his death. we are reconciled to God the Father by the death of the Son.
John 1:29 [ The Lamb of God ] The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Romans 5:11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
2 Corinthians 5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation

So what does reconciled mean? the books, the debt is cleared, we are forgiven, but are we saved by the death? I mean since we all have been forgiven? Rather by his life, the resurrected one, we are saved, no works of our own except belief if one wants to call that a work.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

Either self is on the throne or God by ones free choice is there. And if one does not die to insidious self with Christ forsaking all this world, then how can one see the new life in the Kingdom of God, having physical eyes, blinded to the spiritual
Once Christ was known in the flesh, yet not today, no more.
And God can only be worshipped in Spirit and truth. Christ did not come to give life to flesh, he came to give back the life that became dead to God in Adam and Eve. Christ was born from the Virgin Mary as a life-giving Spirit, kill the flesh and thus become alive
1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

This new life is available to all that will believe God and are willing to die to the self, with Christ at the cross. It is a free gift to be received by Faith in this loving Merciful God from day one

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

True Believers, that Believe on Jesus Christ, the True Christ, hath now, in reality Eternal or Everlasting Life, Its not something just to look forward to in the future, notice Jesus words, in the original it would read:

He that is Hearing my word and believing on Him that sent me,is having Everlasting Life. Believing on Him is proof that they are having or are in a state of Eternal Life, which means Born Again. However, notice what He goes on to promise about these having Everlasting Life presently, He says:

They shall not come into condemnation ! Meaning they shall never perish, They will not come into condemnation at the Judgment, but will be made evident to all that they have been acquitted of all sins, and accepted as Righteous for Christ's Sake.

This lets us know that Believers, True Believers are not in danger of Apostasy or ever Perishing ! It confirms what's said about the Believers in Jn 3:16, " should not Perish "62

And these that believe move on from death as said to life, the believer does not stay at the death, starts there, and is translated, to their new life, and live in the Spirit of God where there is no condemnation.
