Even in the government of the US there are checks and balances of the democratic process consisting of the Judicial (US Supreme Court) Legislative (House of Representatives and Senate) and Executive (President) branches to protect the rights of all American citizens as outlined and stated in the US Constitution.

Without the demand for the products and services that are provided there would be neither employers or employees. Employees produce the products and perform the services using the resources that the employer provides. Both are necessary for a vibrant and growing economy.
Moderate inflation is the sign of a healthy economy wages and prices must slowly rise hand in hand- equally or people start hoarding money. Buying metals, making foreign investments and stop purchasing useable items that our economy thrives on. The wheels stop turning, factories close and our economy crashes like a building to big for it's foundation.
Labor and industry must work together. Either extreme will result in a catastrophic economic failure. This is not a zero sum game and we are not enemies
