I'm trying my best to do what's right and treat people the way I want to be treated...I'm trying to do right by God, but it's hard for me to always do right in this crazy world of sin. I feel like I'm constantly letting God down. I feel like everything in life is a test and how we handle each situation will be determine on how we are blessed..I would like to live a healthy and positive lifestyle. Plz so I can become a better person

Remember the reason you became a Christian? You couldn't get anything right nor do anything right the way God wants. You failed, and the only way out is by trusting God to do what he promised for you and then he'd change you into who he wants you to be. Do you remember that?
Good. So? Why are you taking your life back into your own hands again?
People have a perfect record when we take our lives in our own hands. We fail 100% of the time -- at least with the important stuff. That's the reason we need God to work his will in us. So stop thinking you'll do it just right for God. He knows that's not true. You know it, but he gave us a way to do it through him.
Every time you catch yourself picking up your own "I can do this all by myself," immediately drop that load back at Jesus' feet and ask him to do what it right in you.
Much easier. The only time we fail is when we do it ourselves!

If Jesus told us.... imperfect, stubborn....sometimes even deceitful and evil humans, to forgive "our brother" seventy times seven (presumably for the same sin, although it is not specified), don't you think that means He is willing to forgive us quite a few times?
We should try to become more like God, but He knows we can never fully manage it, and that we will fail over and over again just trying to be "OK". The fact that society also expects perfection isn't making it easier.... but God loves us regardless. I know that it's sometimes impossible to believe, but it is still true

Living like that is not living at all, will God Bless me if I do this or don't do that.....In my teenage years and early adulthood I used to think like that, till I found it was like living in a box...no matter our works we can never please God completely only Jesus can please God, we can live for God but Jesus was what God intended for mankind to be like...completely sold out to God. Unfortunately with our sin nature we can't fully do that especially in this Earth plane. God gave you a life to live free and enjoy responsibly. It's similar to the word of faith crap of speaking stuff into existence....a type of spiritual karma if you will of if I do good things /speak good things then I will always get good things in return....this is not true as sometimes you do the right things and you still get sour grapes in life...Don't stress for instance over should I let this person behind me go ahead of me at Walmart's cash register....sure its nice but it won't affect your blessing and in fact you start to overthink mundane things in life as God's test. If God wants to bless you He will bless you...he knows humans are screw ups so nothing we do can affect that as long as we repent and are trying to walk with God the best we can with minimum disobedience. Don't overthink, God wants you to live! God Bless

I'm 59. I think I'm recently into my middle adulthood, and some days I wonder if I've yet grasped adulthood at all. lol
