I haven't watched TV in months. I've only got rabbit ears and only recieve two channels. And there is nothing on them worth seeing, so I don't watch. I haven't even seen the news in months. The sad part is I don't really miss it. I wish I could get discovery and history channels and CBC for hockey. That's about all I've watch. Except maybe space.

Kids In The Hall is back for a one season series. I saw some clips on YouTube. Not edifying for a Christian to view, but I used to love watching that show.

I always say to my self that if ever i would get rich, i would absolutely give my people a free 1 year subscription of cable networks on their every houses. and if ever they don't have television, of course that includes the gift package in case. The idea of it is:

1. To teach them what the truth in life has to offer them.
2. To expand their knowledge and inspire back to others.
3. To show them how amazing humans can be.
4. To balance their way of thingking so that they couldn't be easily corrupted by anyone through hearsays.
5. To let them explore most specially the childrens, co'z not all can afford to travel around the world and got to see and know people and places around the globe.

I grew up with having television on my side, but my viewing is only limited, you know parents;). some of my knowledge came from the television, though fornications online or in televisions are not as worse like we have today in my time. But that's up to the parent's on how they guide their childrens. In third world countries like ours, we don't give big deal to much on televisions.

of course i would give them the exact product and i'm sorry folks i'm not going to give money. because my real goal is for the children..I'm really feeling sorry about those poor kids coz here in our country they only got to view 5 local channels in poverty zones, unlike if you can afford here a cable installations you are consider as at the level of the middle class. We'll all of it are variety channels; 1 channel is from the government, 1 is independent which is the oldest, and 3 are affilliated in a terrorist organization. the two of
this companies are using the same strategic method; spreading their company-residence antenna's for free to every community that they claimed to be their terretories. most of that places are in the urban, rural poverty areas. i mean thjose communities is only viewing a single reception channel, imagine viewing a t.v. with only 1 channel for the rest of your viewing times. and these companies are the two top broadcasting company in our country.

when i went to our province at my fathers place for a vacation, it's a small and obscure community actually, I have to watch a single channelled television in a month. I said to my father that i would buy him a cable satellite antenna's so that he could enjoy atleast his life in viewing t.v.'s specially his favorite show which is National Geographic channel.. rather than watching such animistic, manipulative,paganic, and non-christianity practices on televisions such as war-mongering,bullying,instead of turning the other cheeks, vain motivations,stupidity and worse of all manipulating the viewers to disregard such individualisms. I mean what's wrong of being an individual? we are all humans! :(whats make me sad is that my people are force to live a life with what this broadcasting companies including AM/Fm bands would want them to live and think at and i can see very clearly the effects to each and everyone around me due to this type of practices that they are making. i mean the impact is increasing rapidly..

P.s.

I'm also talking about the effects on physical and sub-luminal this poor human beings are gaining..

OMG..I had a roommate one time that was hooked on three of them. When she was gone to work she would record them and watch them later. I tried disparately to break her of it, but people like that feel like it is almost their responsibility to know what is going on. I did not have the patience to sit through one of them. After the first commercial I was like ok...now I need to go to bed..and it was the middle of the day... There were some cute guys though, but way too much emotional drama I could not get at the time. I thought that it was silly that they were always setting themselves up or getting in obviously bad situations...really gross to me. I felt like I had to open up the windows, open the doors, and blare some loud music to wipe out the heaviness of it all. When ever I go to someone's house and they have it on I feel like I am in a nursing facility and I really need to go outside. I bet there are some nursing homes that could benefit from my WII and my kids after they have been cooped up inside all day from the rain.

Most programmes I don't particularly like I can still see some value in, for instance a lot of comedy shows sadly rely on crude sexual remarks to get people laughing so I avoid most of them, but even the worst ones sometimes have good clean comedy so they have a good side and a bad side......soap operas......I've seen enough in my life to be convinced there is nothing positive in them.

Everything they build they build to knockdown, they are like a chronicle of self-inflicted human misery, I genuinely pity people who feel a soap opera mirrors their own life, to me the only good that comes from them existing is to remind us to keep trying to be better or that grey repetitive cycle of pathetic human behaviour will become reality, and we are already too close to it.

I once watched one season of a soap opera, and even while I was watching it I was thinking "seriously, who makes this lindof shows?!"
so, I agree: BAN ALL SOAP OPERAS! NOW!
 
The cool thing about novelas is that they end. They don't go on and on for years. Once the series is over, it's over. The actors just move on to be in another show.
 
I don't watch much TV right now, my family has Dish Network, we have the 150 channels, or however many it is. I just don't like TV, for numerous reasons. I feel insulted when they put on the beauty products, "You must! Look like us!", my mother watches TV for a bit, but I mostly spend my time on the internet. Not sure if that is a good substitute either.
 
I have basically given up TV. I only watch one show on it. And sometimes I watch the Discovery Channel. I mostly use my TV to watch Christian movies.
