A little complicated? ...... not so much seeing the simplicity in Christ's teachings? 2 Cor 11:3
Those who feel it's not the middle east (is the center of prophecy)
......it breaks down pretty simple I think.
1.6 Billion Muslims as of today- that is a third of the planets population. (also millions and millions through time.)
Another third Christianity, and the last third are basically the rest of the beliefs out there. (atheist, agnostic, new agers, Buddhists, Hinduism, etc)
IF there was another religion out there currently as big as "Christianity" (which even includes Catholics, all denominations, etc) or Muslims/Islam -then it would make sense that they will be a part of end time prophecy. As deluded as some of the branches of Christianity are--their base is still/stems from the Bible, so there IS a chance to stumble upon the truth with these branches. Not so much with the Quran.
Since there is not currently or EVER has been another dominating religion like Islam that has existed, it makes sense to me that these two (Bible/Quran) are what God would choose to cover in the Bible?
Any end time theory has to begin with this one undeniable fact. Islam is HUGE, and has always been big.
No one person currently alive/ or individual nation will be able to enforce a one world religion, marks, tribs, when 3/4's of the planet are firmly in place with their belief.

Yet the bible says the beast will SET UP HIS OWN RELIGION. And will DESTROY ALL OTHERS.
I would tend to listen to the word of God. and not some man made conspiracy theory
