The UK's conservatism is similar to America's liberalism. lol Or so I've heard it explained by someone from the UK. Not to say a conservative can't look at or participate in child pornography, but it's not a value upheld by the conservative mindset. I do see it as being something permissible by liberals in the future, though.
They don't like those restrictive traditions and out-moded mindsets.![]()

Yeah, you are wrong.
Conservatives are similar around the world. Whether it's a conservative communist in China, or conservative Empire builder in America.
Both hate freedom and want big government to control every aspects of people's personal lives, but leave big business free to run quasi criminal cabals.
As long as the average person, the poor person is crushed... and the 1% elevated, the conservative is happy.
If voting in favor of what conservatives think is right means 1% being elevated and them controlling the average person, then something's wrong with that particular nation's voting system. But if 60% of a nation is conservative and they vote that adultery and fornication should be punishable under criminal law, then that just means that a majority of the population is conservative and decides to shape the society in which they live a certain way. I've heard this explained by a liberal as "tyranny of the majority." Apparently when after a vote in a democratic form of government the 1% of liberals don't get their way they cry tyranny. Oh, well... I guess conservatives don't deserve to have their voices heard in a democratic system..
Probably best to not to post during happy hour. I couldn't understand a word of what you just said.
I base my beliefs on my observations. I am pretty much a liberal because of the illegal wars your mate Bush committed the USA and allies too, so that his friends can get all that oil. I saw all the conservatives cheering it on.
THAT IS NOT CHRISTIANITY. The Republican party is not Christian. Never was and never will be.

David, why are you okay with this? You specifically said a few weeks ago that it was not the government's job to stop people from sinning. Shouldn't they release him immediately?
It seems... people are happy for the government to police your personal/private sins.

Addressing the original post, I'm glad this gentleman was caught and hope he is prosecuted the fullest extent the British legal system allows.
Well of course it's not a Christian party - neither is the Democratic party or the Libertarian party or any other party.
They all resort to pandering, back room deals, insider trading, and morally reprehensible behavior. The best one can hope to do is pick the one that does the least damage.
He's not a gentleman...
It's a Christian nation with a state church. Whereas America and Australia are secular nations.
The U.S. is a nation built on Jeffersonianism that has been secularized to a large degree beginning in the mid 20th century.
