Res, who gave you this idea? Go back and look at the scripture I posted please. The bible makes it clear haven is NOT here on earth. it speaks of and, or, here , there.

Why would there be a resurrection if there is no haven? wha do you think happens after we die?

btw_ Are you saying every person should lean on their own understanding of scrupture? (Look at what that means in theese forums ;) )
When we repent of our sin, our troubles disappear. This is heaven. This is New Jerusalem descending down on us.

When we die, we go to the resurrection. It is the place we will spend the rest of eternity.

Astrid, you have only begun to learn about life. Reading the Bible is just the beginning. Now you must walk with your Father in heaven and learn the rest.

You must do your own thinking and not have others do it for you. That is, listen to what the Lord is telling you, not a group of people.

When you let other people do your thinking for you, you make the same mistakes they do. Listen to the Lord. He is your only teacher:

But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. Matt 23:8 RSV
