I don't know what Janism is but nonviolence, while in most cases is admirable, it doesn't even begin to address morality. Just because people aren't as bad as they might be doesn't make them moral. And, as Christianity is the only entity that has a remedy for the depravity of man, I would rather have those who represent me understand this as well.
You are free to vote for whomever you like and you should be allowed the opportunity to voice your opinions. But if you are going to do so you should also expect that others who don't agree with you will expect and should receive the same courtesy.

I don't believe you are attacking Christianity but your approach and choice of verbiage seems counterintuitive others do. Clearly something is being lost in the messaging. I'm just suggesting a different approach.

Agreed. The main focus of Christians should be (a) the propagation of the true and full Gospel throughout the world, (b) the edification of the saints through the pure Word of God, and (c) personal growth through the sanctifying power of the Spirit and the living Word of God.
We need to be salt and light in a crooked world. And God had already shown us that evildoers and seducers will wax worse and worse until the Man of Sin be revealed. But that is not the end of the story. The kingdom of darkness will be totally destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ at His coming. And He will rule over all the nations with a rod of iron. After that all the evildoers will face eternal damnation.

We believers instead look for a New Heavens and a New Earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness". That is God's ultimate plan. But the New Jerusalem -- the eternal home of the saints -- will then give light to the earth, and that light will be the glory of God and of the Lamb.
