I find it odd,,,there's a person with zero protection on, breathing in 100 percent of this,touching everything that the droplets land on telling the ones who are trying to block as much of it as they can that their not smart. lol. just imagining a picture of this in my head.
 
To be on the safe side everyone should be required to wear a full hazmat suit and a back-pack flame thrower to kill the virus.

I've heard the term myself, as well as "superiority of the mask".....in my area there are exceptions for people with conditions like COPD, asthma....basically any condition that makes breathing through a mask dificult, as well as those with mental conditions where wearing a a mask can cause anxiety or other issues. I hope and pray that if someone is confronted over not wearing a mask....I hope I am around. I've seen too many social media posts that go something like: "I have asthma and I wear a mask, so that is not a valid excuse".....people arrogantly assuming that their situtation is exactly the same as everyone else's.

The US is a divided country with 2 classes of people - those that wear a mask and those that don't. Regarding the wearing of masks there are two types of people - those that wear a cloth mask and those that wear a disposable mask.

That's just in the movies about pandemics where the government comes swooping in with all sorts of medical supplies,suits ect. In real life we saw that after years of paying the CDC billions of dollars and spending trillions of dollars on a defense system to protect us from biological weapons we ended up having to import PPE's from China. Great job government we got our monies worth?

if you are handling quarantine or in isolation, with known cases then you DO need to wear PPE. If you think you may be at risk, wear one.
If you are not, and its safe, then you ought to be fine, just dont go to close to people if possible.

in shops many have put up perspex screens. its like a sneeze guard that you would have over salad bars. I dont know about you but many people have to be face to face with hundreds of people EVERY day in their work. How do you think they feel?

if your work consists solely of looking at a computer screen and you dont have to share your computer then I would say you are safe. But lots of people do not have jobs like that. surprise.

Unfortunately, too many Governors in the states, particularly blue states where the zeal for curbing peoples liberties seems to be at an all time high due to Coronavirus Covid-19, there can be heavy fines for not wearing a mask. One I heard of is at $500.00. I don't think we're going to be free of mask mandates any time soon.
