wow. thank you for all your love everybody, this is all new to me. I appoligise if i upset anyone i just needed to speak with real christians so that i can feel guided. I have never had these feelings for god before and now i just can not stop thinking of him and how i need to love him and follow him. I know that this is a long process but i feel very proud that i am beggining my journey with the lord. I have so much yet to learn, i am very smart and my heart is full of love. My family will come around for now though i will follow god and he will make thing alright. Last night when i was sleeping i was having really bad nightmares and i awoke sweating now this has never happened to me bofore can anyone share any light on this for me please?

My mom has struggled with nightmares, she will pray, I rebuke you satan in the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to flee. She says it a few times or until she feels comforted. I use the same prayer for my kids, it always works!
The angels in heaven are rejoicing for you, as am I.
Learn the scriptures and how they apply to your life. Apply them, and you will grow stronger, and set an amazing example for those around you!!! I am so excited for your new journey through God, He is amazing! I am walking this path along side of you, always learning, and growing in my faith.

The evil one is very unhappy when a new believer is born...so it may be from him. Fear is one of his best weapons.
Immediately pray for peace and comfort and that these bad dreams go away in Jesus' name. Eventually, they will stop.
Be sure you're not viewing or reading disturbing things before going to bed. Or anytime really

I can see it's difficult for your mum, as a non believer, to understand what has just happened to you because this is new to her and she's responding the way any non believer would respond.
I would recommend praying lots to God, now that you have this relationship with Him. Share how you feel and pray for your mum also. He will always be with you and will give you strength. Prayer is powerful

you know sweetie, even the people that we love the most if they do not know jesus as their savior they simply cannot understand where you are coming from because they are one with worldliness. My guy that I am with looks at me like I am crazy and says some pretty hateful stuff about my faith and about my God. I simply pray for him that God will soften his heart and bring my guy to him. that he will save him. I then (prolly shouldnt do this) laugh and say ah ha!!! I finally know more about something then you do then I laugh and tease him (cause he is really smart) dont take anything a unsaved person says to heart because sadly they just cannot know where you are coming from until they get saved. the best thing you can do for your mom is pray. God loves you so very much. Turn to him and ask him for understanding and for his peace (say I claim the peace of jesus on jesus name, thank you jesus) when things get really hard. Ask God to calm your mind and to help you through this. pray pray pray talk to him like he is the very best friend you have ever had....because he is. he will bring peace and comfort to your heart like no one else ever can. And if you pray and ask God to bring a good decent man into your life....believe with all of your heart that he will and it WILL happen. One thing you will have to get use to as a child of God is persecution. When you are persecuted for Jesus's sake, be happy for it because it means you are on the right path spiritually. Look at all Jesus went through so that we could spend eternal life with him. Why should we go through any less? But he is always with you, he is your helper, your comforter, your companion. When you seek him with all of you heart, mind, soul, spirit.....you find him in a way that will forever change you into a much better person. Life will grow to become so so so beautiful the closer you grow to him persecution or not. Keep your chin up and get back up and keep walking towards God.
Do not let other people's reaction come between you and your Almighty Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

The Bible tells us that this will happen.
I come from a non religious background, and my own Dad said he would not be around me if i continued to talk about "this religious thing" and said he was worried about my mental state...
There is more, but it is not important, I only typed this for your benefit to witness that you are not alone, I am very comfortable and happy.
And if people do not want to be around me then that is fine, I will not deny the truth to comfort their ignorant state.

Beloved, you have embarked on a difficult and wonderful journey! Life with God is a process for us, but in His eyes you are already perfect; complete.
I have grown children, and believe me, mothers make mistakes, some trivial and some terrible. Our hearts are usually in the right place, but we are fallible; human.
I agree with others that your mum cannot understand what's happened in your heart. If you can, find a church, or a group of Christians with whom you can share in this amazing journey of getting to KNOW your Abba, God. (Abba is the Aramaic word for Daddy, and Jesus spoke of God the Father using that word!)
I have no reputation here yet, and people have no reason to trust me, but I will willingly and happily speak privately with you if you need someone. I have been walking with God for about 35 years, and have children as old as 31. (!) My own parents didn't understand when my life changed, but God is able (and wants to!) to carry you through these difficult first days. He loves you so! You are His treasure, his precious child. As a mother yourself, you know what it is to love your baby, and God's love is perfect, so imagine how He feels about you! He is so happy about you, and angels are rejoicing about your new life in Christ.
Take heart, dear one! Life is hard, but God is so very, very good.

It's wonderful to hear that Christ seems to be doing something in your life! Nothing in the world compares to knowing Him.
Sorry to hear the sad news of how your mother responded. I remember when the LORD called me from darkness to light: Before He changed my heart I loved the things of the world, and surrounded myself with people who loved the same things. But after the LORD converted me, changing my heart, I loved the things that He loves. Overjoyed, and embracing my new desires, I sought to share those with my old friends and they didn't want to hear it at all; one person used all kinds of cuss words. So I went from having almost 100 friends to having 1 left. Then that friend was eventually gone, but the LORD never left, and there is no friend like the LORD. We would oftentimes walk together and talk. One day He promised me true brothers, real friends. I was so happy, but then started to doubt whether it was the LORD or my heart wishfully thinking. But the word came to pass.
The LORD has surrounded me with people who love the LORD. I have an overseer who is a great example of how a saint should walk, brothers who love their wives, sisters whose beauty is their godliness...
Again, I'm sorry your mother responded the way she did, but I find the thought that you'd be alone to be an untrue one. There's communion with the Father, there's communion with the Son, there's communion with the Holy Spirit of God, there's communion with a TREMENDOUS amount of brothers and sisters in Christ: you can go evangelizing with them, you can talk with them, you can go play basketball with them. Your relationships are far richer when Christ is at the center.
