1 of the 1st things i learned back in 1993 as a new Christian:
1. the Bible was divided into chapters about 1228 a.d. by Steven langton
2. the o.t. was divided into verses about 1448 a.d. by r nathan
3. the n.t. was divided into verses in 1551 a.d. by robert stephanus
I, see to read it as a whole
I was told by another believer to read 25 verses prior to the verse and 25 verses after;
Since verses have been put in. This has allowed people, includes me, to use verses to go to others verses and make a new way in, and appear well in understanding and yet deceive many for self gain here on earth. So please read it all, for self, between God and you personally
I, call verse picking Cherry picking, and I heard Elephants hide in Cherry trees, they painted their toes nails red to hide
Then, Tarzan got killed picking Cherries Ha Ha! End of Joke

Watch out for self and others using the Bible verses for any self gain. I think, that be what Jesus meant when he said watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees
Thanks for the tidbit bit you gave on Dates

good stuff. but dont just read the verses before . or whole chapters.

Read the whole bible to get things in context.
God is the same yesterday today and forever.
He hasnt changed and yet so many are stuck in the new testement and rarely go the older books

Good stuff in all of them new and old.
Without the context it is too easy to deceive.
Thank you the Bible I see as a gigantic Love letter to us all on
God says, I just love you all

Without being 100% forgiven by God reconciled. No new life could be offered Called eternal life.
Yet, what Jesus came here to earth to do, is now done, before new life could ever be offered in his risen. life
When, we have many working hard to do what is done for them by God Father through Son. These without seeing are doing flesh work and no flesh can please God
Romans 8:1-3, please read the entire chapter and the ones prior to Chapter 8
To read from Chapter 6 through 8 has much depth there in it
6-8 is a repeat of Chapters 3-5

Love God first ... love to fellow mankind follows ...

1 John 4:17 - 5:2:

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

I agree, although because the Bible was not available to very many before the invention of the printing press c. 1500 A.D.,
we need to include general revelation in our doctrine of salvation.

More like, whatever Father, Daddy, PaPa says
I hear
"I" just love you, that is, why my Son went to earth once for everyone to save each person personally for sure, those that choose to believe me will see beyond physical reality, humbly
Will see in My Spirit and Truth John 4:23-24

The Old Testament that I call not old, I call the old the First, they had to read,
to go on in the predicting of the savior to come to save them. No one knowing or understanding how. Who, goes to willing death without a fight back and why?
I see this truth in Col 2 They saw him as risen, they were sore afraid, seeing him risen and he still did not condemn them, God's love to all changes people from within, this assuredly did me and continues in me daily
No need to have the Bible, when God Father lives in us each to teach us all each as in 1 John 2:27 for em at least. I do love having the Bible though. And only Daddy, Father, PaPa x=can interpret it in. truth to us all to me at least, since there are so many misinterpretations of scriptures

Yes, but--An obvious question to ask at this point is, “What is GRFS for those who have never heard of Jesus?” (which includes everyone living B.C. and millions of people who have lived A.D.) If God loves the world (JN 3:16) and wants everyone to be saved (2Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11), then He must provide an opportunity. God’s just judgment is illustrated by Jesus in the Parable of the Talents (Matt. 25:14-29), which indicates that God will judge souls on the basis of the truth (Word = Christ per JN 1:1f.) they have received.

There are two main ways God/Christ is encountered:

1. General revelation, which includes meditating on the natural world or God’s supernatural work and moral conscience. Paul said men are without excuse, both because God’s eternal power and divine nature (love) are manifested by creation (Rom. 1:20), and because a proto-gospel has been proclaimed to everyone under heaven implicitly or in pre-NT foreshadowings (Col. 1:23, Rom. 10:13-18, Gal. 3:8). He also taught that all normal humans have an inner conscience or “common” sense (Rom. 2:14-16), which manifests morality or a moral Authority in every culture.

2. Special revelation (1Pet. 1:8-12), which refers mainly to divinely inspired NT teaching regarding God’s history of salvation. Again, the Parable of the Talents indicates that souls are saved via faith in God/ Christ as revealed (cf. 1Cor. 10:1-5). Truthseekers around the world in all times are pilgrims at various places along the road of life, and all true roads eventually lead to the Way to eternal life in heaven (John 14:6, Acts 24:14, Phil. 2:10-11). All truth leads to One Way.

God is good all the time as good is God all the time
Now see Acts 5 towards the end of that Chapter

Authorized (King James) Version

Acts 35-40

35 and said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. 36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. 38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: 39 but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. 40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Amazing isn't it, God continues in love to all, no matter, for it is this love of God that overcame and overcomes all. Stand therefore

Colossians 1:21-23

Authorized (King James) Version

Col 1:21-23

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Indeed for there is no other hope of heaven and the atheists revealed the futility of their thinking during the Biden administration.
