2 Weeks ago, at my tender age of 70 I have 16 teeth removed I sure waited as long as I could with my real teeth to go, it took me about a week to recover fully from the pain, they gave me false ones to replace my real teeth, and I hate them!! Jesus never had false teeth!! Nor did any of his disciples! Why should I have to have them!! Sorry! I don't complain much but this really bothers me! When I put them in, they cut blow my gums and so now I am praying the Lord will toughen my gums enough I won't need my teeth!! LOL, I know this may sound a bit Dum, but perhaps some of you have a remedy I may look at to help me with this problem. THANKS in advance!! My false teeth sit in a cup in my bathroom, and I rebuke them everyday day!! LOL

Hello I am not an expert but from my entourage, older ants and uncles having as you have dental prosthesis, at the beginning there is an adjustment phase, however if they hurt your gums, it could mean they need to be adjusted properly, I would go back to the dentist and have them examined and refitted properly if needed. a link below that could give you some practical info;

I can sympathize. I'm probably going to be looking at this situation myself in a few years. I've already decided I won't get dentures or anything else. I'll just find foods I can eat without teeth. I knew a guys once who had no teeth and he could eat tortilla chips; I don't know how he did it, but he loved 'em, lol.

A rinse with warm salted water may help, swishing it over and back on the gums. I will hit 80 next month, still have most of my teeth with a couple of crowns andone implant. Actually I was certain I would beneeding dentures in my thirties what with my family dental history. God be praised dalways with or without them...teeth I mean. You be well and very blessed in our Savior.... young one.

It's like wearing glasses. The more you wear them, the more you will get used to them and the less it will bother you.
