So what you posted is in agreement with what I posted. But you didn't address the part about man receiving soul AND spirit BEFORE being born again. The Hebrew does not simply say....
"You will surely die."
It gets translated that way often in a traditional take on what the Hebrew states.
It actually says...
"In dying you shall die."
To mean?
Two deaths.
In dying 'spiritually'...
You shall die, as a result, physically.
To know that?
Is why I love my pastor's dedication for his study and teaching from the Hebrew and Greek.
And, unlike most churches?
He taught exegetically six nights a week. (hence = our daily bread)
God will provide for those who simply do not seek for something to say.
But, to know... why something is so.
There are TREASURES which are hidden to be dug out from the original languages that the Bible was written in!
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they
may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know
the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians 2:2-3
Does a donkey have the intenlligence of its own to reprimand? Does it even have the vocal cord to form the vowels and consonants of human language? The donkey spoke. Not God... - (note feminine gender0.
Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” Numbers 22:28
It's true Jesus was rebuking the Pharisees' misinterpretation of the law, but He then gave them the CORRECT INTERPRETATION of the law.He didn't, you did. Jesus, the author of the law, was rebuking the Pharisees' misinterpretation, hypocrisy and added doctrines.
And that's not "spiritual interpretation" as you did in regard of the "pillar of the cloud". Your obsession in the rabbit whole you've dug and trapped yourself in has blinded you from looking for the Word in the correct places, such as the rock that sprung forth water, or the bronze serpent which Jesus compared himself with. It's true Jesus was rebuking the Pharisees' misinterpretation of the law, but He then gave them the CORRECT INTERPRETATION of the law.
The Bible says that HE was " in the cloud ", I gave you the scripture, which you obviously DON'T believe. Yes, God, the Word, manifested in physical form and spoke while IN the cloud. Spiritual interpretation has triggered you, hasn't it?I have been telling you over and over that this was a THEOphany, i.e. God manifested in a visible form. He did speak THROUGH the cloud, not in the cloud, as long as He sits on his throne in heaven, Ps. 2. I do believe in the scripture, I don't believe in your "spiritual" interpretation.

When the Bible states that God breathed the breath ( nesh-aw- maw Heb. 5397, look it up in Strong's ) into Adam that breath of life included soul AND spirit. God is no respecter of persons and what He breathed into Adam in procreation He also breathed into all of living mankind, soul AND spirit. When we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior our spirits, which beforehand were deadened, are then " quickened " ( regenerated, revived ) to receive from the Spirit of God.
The first time "pillar of cloud" was mentioned, it was the angel of God, not God the Father himself, who was in heaven. Therefore it was an angel, as God's spokesperson, in the cloud. Similar to the glowing bush, God was speaking through an angel. The Bible says that HE was " in the cloud ", I gave you the scripture, which you obviously DON'T believe. I've come to the conclusion that if you don't agree with scripture, that God was IN the pillar of cloud as it clearly states, then you have your own version of something, you don't even acknowledge the Messianic scriptures and you, if I have read correctly, are a Messianic Jew. You, correctly, state that God the Word was the rock that sprung forth water, but you can't wrap your mind around that He met Moses face to face. He could manifest as a rock but not as a man, not born of a woman, as some angels have. Go figure, SMH.And that's not "spiritual interpretation" as you did in regard of the "pillar of the cloud". Lucifer wasn't reduced to a snake in animal form before the fall. When the serpent spoke to Eve she showed no surprise.
That is why it is possible that animals spoke in simple ways before the fall.
I agree with the scripture in all my heart, you don't. It is you who can't wrap your mind around the concept of God's PRESENCE in Ex. 33:14, which perfectly reconciled 33:11 and 33:20.I've come to the conclusion that if you don't agree with scripture, that God was IN the pillar of cloud as it clearly states, then you have your own version of something, you don't even acknowledge the Messianic scriptures and you, if I have read correctly, are a Messianic Jew. The scripture I gave you from Deut. 31:15 is the last time the pillar of cloud is mentioned, I believe, and it states that God was IN the cloud. What does YOUR reading say? The earlier mentions of the pillar of cloud does mention " The Angel of God " So, as the Angel moved so did the cloud. The, singular, Angel of the Lord is God, the Word. The first time "pillar of cloud" was mentioned, it was the angel of God, not God the Father himself, who was in heaven. Therefore it was an angel, as God's spokesperson, in the cloud. Similar to the glowing bush, God was speaking through an angel.
Then the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them. Also the pillar of cloud moved from in front and stood behind them, (Ex. 14:19)
And what names have I called you Lovette? P.S. So you agree with Deut 31:15??I agree with the scripture in all my heart, you don't. It is you who can't wrap your mind around the concept of God's PRESENCE in Ex. 33:14, which perfectly reconciled 33:11 and 33:20.
And for the record, unlike you, I've never called you any names or questioned your faith just because I disagree with you on a trivial issue.
The Tree of Life, Messianic version of scripture, states " Then Adonai Elohim formed the man out of the dust from the ground and He breathed into his nostrils A breath of life- so the man became a living being.: Gen. 2:7 It says A breath of life, not breath of lives. Strong's concordance also doesn't mention breath of lives. The Hebrew says, "breath of lives." Plural. Adam received both soul life and spirit life.
When we are born again it is the human spirit that makes us a "living soul." (no longer spiritually dead).
Do you believe that God sits on his throne all the time? Do you agree with Ps. 2:4?And what names have I called you Lovette? P.S. So you agree with Deut 31:15??
the capital A was added by the translator according to their own theology. It's not capped in TLV, KJV or NASB.The Angel of God " So, as the Angel moved so did the cloud. The, singular, Angel of the Lord is God, the Word.

What does that have to do with anything I had said?Lucifer wasn't reduced to a snake in animal form before the fall.
