You are being like Chubby Checker, doing the twist. We were talking about your claim that people can have a soul but not a spirit. I never claimed that every spirit is human. I see now that you just want to be right but " Let God be true and every man a liar." Have a good day.
It is hard to reason with someone who can not think clearly as to be able to soundly reason..

And the OSAS crowd is claiming God has not called His people to walk in agreement with Him in obedience which is why they claim it's all good if people want to walk with the devil in sinful behavior in opposition to the Lord.

Again, we do not say that at all. That is your presumption. You do know presumption is a sin don't you?

Either way? Dormant means non functional. As good as not being there.
I can never understand why people think the Holy Spirit would generate a spirit in us that is somehow dead in its' function. Afterall, it is the Spirit who gives birth to spirit. Is he toying with us? Could have generated a perfectly alive functioning spirit within us the first time round but somehow can only manage this "limp wristed waste of space"? 🙃

John 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

He is not toying....

His flesh is naturally an antagonist.

No, dormant simply means in suspended animation; still living.

Your definition “as good as not being there” is being dead; non living. A good example is the cemetery.
Yes...kitty kitty...

Yet?
Jesus called them "dead."

Have a talk with Jesus.

I agree that Jesus, in human form, was not present before His birth. But that doesn't mean He didn't exist. He existed as The Word and I submit to you that it was the Word, who is God, who met Abram at his tent door whom Abraham called Lord, it was the Word who Moses met face to face Exodus 33:10. God, the Father, had said " Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see Me, and live." Exodus 33:20.
Nope, these are all God the Father speaking through his mediums. Neither Moses nor Abraham see God face to face, they met him through a MEDIUM, it's like communicating through phone, Zoom or a courier. Jesus on the other hand was not revealed until his incarnation, He existed in visions and prophecies.

The Father, the Word and the Spirit are equal and all three are God, with whom there is nothing impossible.
Again, it is impossible for God to lie.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Num. 23:19)

Again, we do not say that at all.

And then you guys turn around and claim obedience is works based salvation claiming if one walks in sin that does not cause them to lose their salvation which you all do because you folks are so sin friendly.

You do know presumption is a sin don't you?

Which is a non issue for the OSAS crowd since they say it's impossible for one to lose their salvation.

No, we claim that when you place your obedience as the defining factor in your salvation from death and that your resurrection is conditional upon your obedience, then you have made God's grace null and void and the Cross an element of scorn.

With a comment like that, I do have to wonder if you understand the salvation package at all.

I see no profit in taking this conversation further while you continue to misunderstand and misrepresent what OSAS people say while at the same time thinking that somehow you are a more faithful Christian.

Have a nice Day.
