And you should realize that although Lord Jesus ascended into heaven, we don't and we won't. We shall resurrect right here on earth, our future glorious body will only resemble his after the resurrection, during his last fourty days on earth.

Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor. (1 Cor. 15:39-41)

You have to remember, the Word, who would later manifest as Jesus the Christ, is God and to say that God COULD NOT appear in flesh form before His incarnation means that it, to you, is/was impossible.

You have to remember, God the Son MUST appear in flesh, the rule is set in 1 Jn. 4:1-3, with no wiggle room.

You post repeatedly that 1 John scripture. Who has said that Jesus Christ didn't come in the flesh? Certainly not I. Are you saying that I am acting under the spirit of antichrist and in turn a false prophet? Well I can say that you, by claiming Jesus to be just a medium, are operating under the spirit of error instead of the Spirit of Truth.

I've never said the Jesus was "just" a medium and nothing else, it is you who couldn't comprehend the depth and significance of his "medium" capacity by perceiving it as offensive. Ask yourself, is Lord Jesus not the "ladder"? The way? The high priest? The spokesperson of God the Father, a prophet like Moses?

All of that is true, but to shake you out of your reverie, our job is to occupy and tend our business till he returns.

The new body in our resurrection is still a terrestial body suited for earthly life, as long as our resurrection takes place not in heaven, but on earth.

Did you not read what I originally posted? Not terrestrial but spiritual, made from the "stuff of heaven", just as our bodies now are made from the "stuff of earth". Our bodies are on earth so must be raised from the earth but our new bodies wait for us in heaven, so technically our resurrection occurs in both places, just as Christ was raised from the tomb on earth but received his new body after His ascension when in heaven.

Ask yourself, what does the title "God" means to you. In all other religions, including Catholicism, in my observation, god sits high up in the temple demanding sacrifices from its worshippers, only in Christianity does God humble himself to a man among us and sacrifice himself for us. So if god is the first version, then no; if the second, then most affirmatively, unequivocally, yes.

How about leaving that future heavenly citizenship to the future, while seizing our present earthly citizenship on earth while we're still on earth? I'm not a fan of escapism, the human history has got enough of that, constantly fantasizing about the afterlife while neglecting the present life.

No, the church is destined to reign the millennial kingdom with Christ on EARTH.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Rev. 20:4)

No one goes to heaven except the Lord himself.

I agree with your post, except for one thing, God spoke, and people heard, Him say "this is My beloved Son" on two occasions. Matthew 3:17 and Matthew 17:5/Luke 9:35

You left out something He said.

We are back where we started in that the Father has never spoken to us, only the Word.
