No those plain words say what they clearly say....he who loves HAS FULFILLED the law! And every commandment is fulfilled in one word..love! Not legalism!

Ro 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Yes but the next verse qualifies what that means, obedience.

How can I steal and kill when I love? and why look to the legalistic code of moses when God makes clear that In Christ love fulfills all the law commands?

You do a lot of double talk as shown above. In one post you say how can I do sin if I love, but then in others you say love fulfills so you don't have to obey to follow the commands.
You show upholding them in one post, then you don't have to follow them in another. You can not uphold something without following it, so by love upholding righteousness then you are following the commandments. Thus fulfilling them !!!

Yet you do not obey, Ok Got that clear.

lol you don't even know me and you accuse me? It don't matter what you think of me, it matters what the bible clearly teaches! Love fulfills all the law!

Ga 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

no I don't know you but I do know what you said and you don't obey the Sabbath.

Is the Sabbath commandment part of the law?

Ro 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the

Is the Sabbath commandment part of the law?

Is do not kill part of the law, shall I keep that as you do the Sabbath? then claim love fulfills it?

You come across very inconsistent in how you apply love fulfilling the law.

According to you love fulfills the law except the Sabbath.

You should let God know that you think his Sabbath that He made is not worth keeping.

Sabbath was made before sin came to our world did you know that?

So then you can love the Lord, but refuse to get baptized ?

So then you can love the Lord, but refuse to forgive others ?

So then you can love the Lord, but refuse to keep your confession in Him ?

And so on and so on...............................
That is not what the bible says, for it says if you love Him you will keep and obey all His teachings and commands.
The bible does not say love gives you the right to reject all His teachings and commands.
If you love you will obey and keep them, hince follow them.....That is what the bible says !!!

I think I will obey the bible :)

except for the Sabbath right, Don't need to obey that.

After all whats in a day, I mean who cares that God made it.

yeah and he blessed it so what.

oh yeah and he set it apart as Holy, but we know better don't we.

lets not rest on the day He said and rest in his works that legalism.

I know lets make our own day to worship cause that is real love hey?

I mean really God should have known better than to bless the 7th, did He not know that the 1st is easier for us?

Get the point?

No I believe the evident reading of the scriptures that ALL THE LAW is fulfilled in love...every commandment! Love not legalism...Christ Jesus...not Moses!

You still will obey His commands and teachings no matter how you look at it, unless you do not love Him.
For the Lord clearly says those who love Him keep, follow, obey His laws/teachings/commands. Hince they fulfill them by doing them.

Yes love is obedience ! He who loves HAS FULFILLED the law!

I think what the bible is teaching is so simple it confuses some people?

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ

Love fulfills the Law. If we love God, we will keep the 1st table.
If we love out neigbour, we will keep the 2nd table.
He who loves God, will he have false god's before the Lord?
He who Loves God, will he take the Name of the Lord in vain?

He who truly loves his neighbor, will he covet his neighbor's wife?
He who truly loves his neighbor, will he kill his neighbor?
So love is the fulfillment of the Law.
The Law is spiritual, only the new man which after God is created in righteousness can keep it.

Love = Righteousness

Sin = Unrighteousness

Repentance, baptism, forgiveness, confession, mercy, obedience, helpful, courteous, uplifting are all works of righteousness......Which means they are all works of love.

All forms of sins rather it be lying, stealing, adultery, hateful language, and so on....is works of unrighteousness, which is also what is called works of the flesh. And no works of the flesh lead to eternal life !!!

2Jn 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
2Jn 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1Jn 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Jas 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jas 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

James is clear that to fulfill love thy neighbor is to keep the laws concerning our neighbor.

and so on and so on.
