I was sitting in a coffee shop today and over heard some women doing a Bible study. They were probably in their 30's and they were talking about how they each wanted a husband and hoped that God had one in store for them. They also said that if He didn't, then there must be something much more rewarding in His plan. However, the one thing they said that hit home was, if you spend time with a lot of people of the opposite gender and devote a lot of time to those relationships, you could be 'ignoring' the one that God has for you. Like if I spend all my time with the guys from church just hanging out and watching movies or whatever, I could potentially be passing up having time with the 'one' that God has for me.
It really made me think of CC. Like, I spend time in the chat rooms. A lot. And when you get to know people, it can be hard to not have a 'crush' or find some sort of connection. It's not planned, but it happens. Do you think that online 'crushes' can get in God's way? Obviously nothing can really get in God's way, He's God. But do you think they can get in the way of meeting the one God has for us?
