Brrr...fall is definitely here. Was this sunny, hot morning today, and now it's windy and down to 40....40??? Well, ain't seen no skeeters today so I reckon the good Lord himself took action to GIT SHED of them nasty lil BUGS!;).
 
We finally got some rain here today!

Hopefully it will clear some of the fire smoke from the air :)

And help put an end to the forest fires causing the smoke...

The season for woollen dresses, woollen long johns, woollen socks, woollen cardigans. A lot of wool. Knitting. Candles. Tea. Fire place. It is time to start the produce of Christmas presents. And guess what Santa is going to bring? A lot of woollen clothes. And perhaps some DIY kits with woollen yarn and pins.
 
And the bugs are DYING BY THE TRUCKLOAD! :D :D :D Bwahahaha!
 
You can send all the cold weather to me... There is nothing like seeing the leaves turn colors in the fall. I've always wanted to grab a couple of friends and go for a long road trip along one of the fall "Color Tours" (places where the leaves are at their most vibrant.)

I'm also the person who still wears shorts when it's 60 degrees outside.

My mom is the opposite--always freezing--and she and I have this running joke that my birth family must have included a couple of polar bears. :)
 
hey now, I enjoy the cold months. So will be keeping my cold over here.

I will shovel all day.

I use to wear no coat and shorts when I was younger but then I started to break out in hives after a while. I started wearing a coat when I became a mother, too look responsible.

I usually don't like it when fall comes because it means the end of summer, but we've been having consistent 100+ degree days coupled with humidity this year so I'm like... "Yes, Fall!! Come to daddy!!" :rolleyes:
