I went to Washington state once, beautiful ocean scenery, eateries. A lot to do if like hiking, site seeing.I'll just post what I used to do. I don't really do anything on weekends anymore, not even hobbies, except sing on my karaoke app once in awhile.
I used to drive to the beach and ride my bike then go boogieboarding, sometimes until the sun went down. Much of that time was spent just wading in the water enjoying the feeling of being in the ocean. Watching the sunset at the beach is beautiful.
Some weekends I'd drive to Newport Beach where my favorite outdoor shopping mall is and I would visit the bookstore there and grab a bite at the food court. They have a beautiful koi pond and a couple of fine art galleries too. I'd go there after a short scenic drive along Pacific Coast Highway.

I also used to drive to LAX airport and watch the planes takeoff and land while taking pictures. There is an In N Out restaurant right by the end of the north runways where you can have a nice burger and watch the planes fly overhead very low.
I used to do photography at the beach too. There is a secluded beach where I used to take pictures. Here's one of my favorites. You can see a tiny person in the foreground. It was taken from the trail leading down to the beach.

I have no problem hike an entire mountain by myself, say hello on the trail to other hikers. Did that a lot in covid years. They can't lock me up.
