This weekend, I went to a friend's party on Friday. Saturday, had two other parties. Today, I did homework.

This coming weekend, I'm going camping with friends.

I took tomorrow off and had traveled to some of my family's this weekend, as they live in the path of a total solar eclipse, which is on my bucket list to see.

So, I'm pretty stoked for tomorrow. I can just walk out into my brother's backyard and see it! And yes, I do have the special sunglasses for it. I am prepared.

I am going to NYC to just walk around, browse, talk to people on the street, maybe a museum.
Find some NY city centric unique things to do
That kind of day(or days).

This weekend I had a blast. Went out of town and met family I have never met and went to a music festival....it was awesome! Next weekend I am gonna clean :)

I did a lot for a Saturday, and it's only 1!

Went to the dentist, got my tires replaced, went grocery/outdoor market shopping, put everything away at home, took my dog to the park, and just got home from the park

I've been meaning to back up several years worth of pictures and update my family's album, so that will be my project when I get up from a power nap. It's so stupid and risky that I haven't backed them up yet!

also making gazpacho to store in the fridge for later this week (I love to make it a few days in advance, the flavors just get better and better), and carnitas tacos for dinner

And maybe get around to changing out some dead light bulbs.

And maybe finish the rest of the book I'm reading.

Oh and maybe laundry.

How did your NYC weekend go? What kind of city centric things did you find to engage in?

So, what was it like? I wasn't quite in the path of totality.

I was going to do something productive with this Saturday afternoon, but then I read that list and I got tired.

So, what was it like? I wasn't quite in the path of totality.

I've seen a lot of things in my life, in my travels and experiences.

It was the coolest, most amazing thing I've ever seen. Totality made it so worth it. It was unreal.

I have an apartment inspection on Thursday with the landlord (all the tenants do) so I did the dishes today, tomorrow I'm gonna sweep and mop the living room/ bathroom floors, clean the tub/toilet/ bathroom sink, and Tuesday I'll mop the kitchen floor.

Thats why I hate renting.

- Went camping with friends
- Went to see Elevation Worship on Friday (Tickets were only $2.50! I couldn't pass up the opportunity)
- Went to a surprise retirement dinner for my Mom

Gazpacho came out lovely too. I topped it with avocado and some leftover charred corn from my tacos
