Back when i lived in my car i regularly got caught sleeping in my car. Every couple weeks. It was a misdemeanor in the area i lived, so it was a bit of a deal there.
One night a cop saw me, one of the first times i was caught, actually, and he went through my car looking for drugs, of course. Or anything. Upon finding nothing interesting he turns and looks at me and says 'no drugs, no porn, no booze... man, you're boring'. I'm taking that as a compliment coming from a cop hahaha.

Its a compliment, you must have beautiful shiny, healthy hair to ask you that? its not weird to pat a cat, or dog because of their beautiful fur. She may be a very lovely lady? I think if a man asked to touch your hair, that may be uncomfortable?

That reminds me of a time I was visiting a friend, and a couple she was also friends with were visiting at the same time. Upon hearing that I had no time or interest to watch television or read the newspapers, the husband half of this couple proclaimed that my life must be really boring. I wonder how television and newspapers make people's lives LESS boring? I do understand the entertainment value of each, and that they help people FEEL less bored, but really, to say my life must be boring because I did not partake of those entertainment values seemed really skewed to me, as if he had it backwards

My friend also thought my life is so boring because she does not see me on facebook or nothing much happening worthy of posting on facebook. She must be so bored she needs facebook to entertain her. And a married friend always bugs us singles, makes fun of us because we are singles. Makes me wonder marriage, her marriage must be boring.
Magenta: Boring is relative. At w*rk I actually AM boring to a lot of people, because I have no idea what they are talking about when they start talking about the latest TV show everybody watches. Maybe you are boring to that guy, because you can't carry your end of a conversation about the world as he knows it, i.e. what happened on (insert currently popular show) last night.
Being boring to someone and telling someone they must have a boring life are two different things, though
To make the point more plain through exaggeration, it would be akin to telling a rock star with a busy, rewarding career which fulfilled their life dreams, that their life must be boring, and/or that they have nothing of interest to share because they did not watch the latest spectacle of grown men on skates fight over a black piece of vulcanized rubber

Now that I'm at it I came to think of that town he's from, Greenbow? Now is that Greenville or Evergreen...or some other place?
