Well we just went and got our house appraised by a mormon lady, and an investor came and....I think he made an offer for it? So like we may be moving within like 3 or so weeks?

how are you feeling about it, Steph? i know laws differ from state to state. in my state, the closing would never happen that quickly, but when we sold my mom's house in NC, it only took a month to close, because both parties wanted it that way.

and by any and all means, pray and remind yourself of all the times God was faithful and took care of you. best cure for anxiety i know, if you're anxious.

Heads up. One of my friends thought she and her husband bought a house three times before they really bought a house. Stuff goes wrong between putting in an offer and signing. And, took hubby and me six weeks between "really want to buy this house" and getting the key to the door.
Just saying it might be more than 3 weeks. Probably won't be less than 3 weeks.
But, yeah -- are you happy, sad, both? (I've always been both when we moved. Happy to go on a new adventure, but sad because I'm leaving "home.") How are you feeling about this?

Welp apparently they’ve said yes already, and mom found a couple of nice condos we can rent. Honestly I’m excited
Well, I guess there's nothing to pray for now.........except for the small stuff, like, praying you find happiness in all you do, and for God to richly bless you as move ahead on the road of life, and that you stay safe, and you enjoy good health, and that your faith never falters in times hardship or pain, or.......well, at least nothing really important, like.............................(God bless You, Steph)

we've always moved ourselves; that's what i found hard, because we've moved a lot in 38 years. we just kept having kids and needing a bigger house. lol
but it can be done! happy for you, sweetheart! (and you do have such a sweet heart

The last time we moved was the only time we used movers. And we only moved two blocks over. John stayed "home" from work that day. So, I went to work, stopped off at the old house to pick up one very miserable cat, and arrived with a welcome-party. (All the neighbors knew I was coming, so stood on their steps to welcome me.) The movers were done by noon, and John had the house for himself, so he was set to make dinner that night. Probably would have, except we were so revved up just knowing it was moving day that we already made plans for dinner delivery.hey, hooray!
