OVernight oats is a fabulous breakfast.

I follow a woman called plantbaes on youtube and she has a overnight oat recipe with home made caramel sauce.

Made by blending 3-4 dates with peanut butter , vanilla essence and soymilk or almond milk or what milk one has .

It sits in fridge and in the morning one drizzles the caramel sauce over the overnight oats.

Its so nice.
holy heavens, that sounds gourmet!

Einstein cheddar jalapeno bagel with plain whipped cream cheese schmear and a cuppa black coffee. I'm late posting this, but life's been hectic

Looks fabulous.
You guyzzz have look to have great taste in your breakfasts you buy, or make or put together.

I am torn as i morally think i want to be vegan and cruelty free but am craving food like this and to be flexitarian.
Flexitarian is mostly plant based but sometimes dairy and rarely meat.

I saw a documentary on youtube about what Jesus ate.
Apparently he ate lentil Stue for dinner daily with home made bread.
He also ate dates, figs, grapes , goats cheese and so.
And fish.
They said he only ate meat incredibly rarely such as when celebrating or when special guests visit and great care was put in to how to go about this .

going by the headache i got when i stopped drinking coffee,it made me glad i did.
🤪😅😅😅I recently thought i was going crazzzy 🙃and realised a biiig reason i was feeling off is because i was drinking intenzo coffee the strongest one my favourite and sometimes 3 mugs a day for over 7 yrs and then i decided to be healthier and switched to Decaff not realising this could impact my body and being with such a quick switch change and not gradual change.
I went from sometimes 3 intenzo strong coffees to only one decaff a day.

For breakfast usually porridge with fruit, it might be blueberries, or feijoas, or stewed apples, or banana.
Toast and jam and peanut butter
Steamed crumpets with butter and honey

I don't really have time for a big breakfast.
Cup of tea, or glass of juice (coconut water, or fresh OJ with the pulp)
I've been drinking Almond milk (unsweetened) instead of cows milk, just for a change, as too much dairy milk is off putting for me.

I never eat boxed cereals, just don't like them as you have to add usually cold milk to them, and they have waaaay too much sugar, like it's the top ingredient. I used to eat things like cocoa puffs, special K, cornflakes, but no way would I eat that now. If I had no choice, I could eat weetbix, or rice bubbles as the least sugary option. I don't add sugar to my porridge or tea.

Sugar not only rots your teeth and gives you diabetes, but too much refined sugar at once makes me hypo.
Stewed apples sounds like a good nourishing comfort food to have with porridge.

Shredded wheat is a delicious and maybe healthier cereal option.

A Christian person taught me yrs ago a porridge of oats that is cooking oats snd water in microwave one minute then stir in milk and pine nuts and maple syrup then microwave another minute or so.
Absolutely delicious and quick to make.
I used soymilk instead of dairy.

My favourite Mc Donalds food is probably Sausage and egg mcmuffin with cheese and hash browns and Caramel late or iced coffee maybe with Apple pie for dessert.

I am trying to be Vegan again though .

Was vegan 6 yrs thrn stopped when unwell.

Now been vegetarian.
Was advised to be flexitarian.

I really want a Sausage mcmuffin big breakfast 🤪😅🙃.

But its cruel to da animals says forks over knives, cowspiracy and christspiracy etc and i hope n reckon i care.
I make a facsimile of those....
Except......

It's a scratch sourdough muffin from sourdough starter I keep going and active
I've coarse ground the pork and made the seasonings for my own sausage....sometimes even growing the fresh sage myself.
Then use a shell eggs....from a local family farm....practically free range chickens but they do get feed too.
Then add a slice of smoked gouda instead of anything else....

That's when you try to go back to the McMuffin....and we can honestly say "try"....but when it gets spit back out after just a few chews....and it isnt you or just your tastebuds telling you something is horribly wrong with what is in your mouth....

Because you inspect the sandwich.....carefully.

The very thin solid muddy-grey party has brown on it looking like sear marks....but you realize that is just paint. Grey meat doesn't turn that color of brown. You recall a food special talking about how a meat processing plant took all the gristle from a milk cow that nobody can eat and chopped it up with strong chemicals like ammonia and then added seasonings and artificial flavor then breaded it to make it a school lunch meat patty....and look at this sausage patty in horror because it looks identical to that beef patty from school lunch...with brown paint spots instead of breading.

The egg? Is it egg? Its super rubbery. And in reality it tastes off somehow. Like it's too eggy somehow along with a taste you cant place....chemically taste.

Then there's the American cheese....you know intristically it's not cheese....been labeled a "cheese food" for longer than you can remember.

Then theres the English muffin....is it really? You wonder....is this like the rest....that color....is that really made by baking? Will it actually mold like artisan bread or stay fresh forever like the sandwich bread in the grocery store....its not sourdough obviously....

But....
you remember back to a time you used to enjoy these things all the time.....maybe the recipe was different than today's.....
