my situation is unique, not normal.
Same. (started with the intent of saying just that... then began thinking out loud, typing away and 'preaching to myself here')
I ask myself everyday "what is 'normal'?
And everyday I get the same answer: "This
is normal!"
For my family, and our unique situations, this is normal. Nothing I can do about it...
EXCEPT make the best of it despite circumstances.
And how do I do that?
I don't, He does!
Well, let me rephrase that:
I do, but it's a choice.
And I'm much better off to make the choice to "let go and let God"
I only get through when I choose to stop looking at the circumstances and look to Jesus.
I ask myself all the time on 'good' days what's the difference between this day and a different day that was 'bad'?
Circumstances haven't haven't changed, in fact some of the situations on this' good' day are as tough if not more so than the ones on the 'bad' days.
So, what made it a good day?
Where and what was my focus on the 'good' days?
Shaking my head at self and wondering why I don't just go ahead and surrender it
ALL all day, everyday anyway. Because sooner or later by the end of the day I'm just going to end up on my knees anyways. I much prefer the days of being on my knees with hands raised (or at least heart raised) in praise

than days of being on my knees at the end of my rope

because I tried doing it my way.
