Oh. been there, done that
Well, in times of stress it's important to remember to look after yourself.
Don't be a martyr. If you need help, ask for it, and be specific. When I was caring for my mum, I felt like I couldn't leave her alone we were that enmeshed. But I managed to ask for help and found a team to support me so I could take a break or respite. I couldn't do anything for myself for 2 years and was also forgetting things. Tired all the time, drained.
I reached a breaking point and just said Jesus take this from me. I know I had a cross to bear but was crushing me. I was irritable and despondent and there seemed to be no end in sight. So, sometimes we have to let go and let someone else be the helper.
Glad that things are going better for you. I found that massages helped get circulation going..and I recommend cupping. When we are weak He is strong. Try to get out at least an hour or so and take time for you. At least with a massage, you are lying down and don't have to think of anything and someone else can look after you, it's worth it, so I'd try to fit one in when I was feeling run down. Or hot bath with epsom salts, or a foot bath with same.
