How did Jesus do what he did on earth?

Please use only scripture and not your vast collection of cessation resources that have a form of Godliness, but deny the power thereof.

I want you to show me in scripture in black, white and red how Jesus did what he did on earth and where it says in black, white or red, where we cannot attain the same power and authority...

Let us look at this verse.... Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

My Godliness in Christ Jesus is the same godliness God gave the flesh of Jesus! The Holy Spirit in His fulness in my flesh, is the same level of holiness and godliness and glory, that Jesus had as man. That measure actually makes me EXACTLY as Jesus in the flesh.

I can NEVER be God or Jesus as GOD! NEVER! But God did not sent Jesus as GOD, when Jesus became man! God sent JEsus as the SON of God in FLESH! That did not make Jesus any less holy than He was before the earth was made, but it did make him less GLORIOUS. Jesus in all His Glory CANNOT fit into flesh. It is way to much glory for flesh. Jesus in all his glory is not God in flesh, but GOD IN ALL GLORY! That I cannot EVER attain. But God in flesh, as Jesus was here on earth is EXACTLY like Jesus in flesh. And if I do not reach that glory of Holy Spirit in FULL in me, I will NEVER reach heaven and Kingdom.


When God sais you must be born of Spirit, he meant it 100%. Every person that is born of Spirit is BORN OF GOD AS JESUS WAS BORN OF GOD! 100%. A NEW creature that God saved through HIS SALVATION will live a GODLY LIFE IN CHRIST...

Taking born again people and what they say out of context is actually a strategy of the modern day church of Satan of how to influence born again believers into denial about the power of God today, the authority they have in Jesus and to convince the certain things have ceased in the Bible and that the Holy Spirit is just a vaporous entity with no real power to do anything.

The only things 'asked' of us is to do good, love justice, and walk humbly with God. Cobus, I do try to do the will of my Father, in word and deed, but I cannot say I have the spirit of God in control. When I least expect it I make a mistake. I then confess it to God and ask for forgiveness and help to change. Sometimes I mess up without knowing until much later..I'm not close to being like Jesus, though I hope to grow more and more in His likeness.

This is a distortion of what following the commandments of God is about. No need to quote scripture because that's been done and done and done. When you love Jesus, really love Him..you have respect for what He did for us. You cry out in agony yourself because you almost feel the pain. No way am I saying I can imagine the torture He went thru,.. no way no how.. .never am I saying that. But you think on that and the heartbreak you feel for what He did,... is so moving. And you can in no way come to realize those things until you try .. to walk in His ways. You try to feel what He feels, love what He loves and hate what He hates ..you consider how much He loves God, how much He loves us, that He would be obedient to death, and then you realize what a little thing it is, to follow the commandments of God as best as you can, and you begin to realize some things. Those commands are bindings of love. Our Father in Heaven knew us before we were born and He knew how we could be led astray if we had no rules to guide us no boundaries. And you love Him more and more because He did what He did and the more you try and fail and He picks you back up....there is no way I would say..He asks nothing of me but to believe, because He loves me too much He has not left me alone,,alone in confusion not knowing what is right, because He wrote a book that tells me..If you love me keep my commandments..my yoke is easy..my burden is light..oh yes yes I will follow Him as best as I can I will keep his commandments I will walk in His ways and if I fall He will catch me...He loves me too much to leave me alone...and oh yes I believe!

Perhaps you would like to reword your statement? There are quite a few verses where the prophets of the LORD proclaim the need for a sacrifice for the atonement of sin in both the OLD and NEW Testament.

But if you truly don't know the verses then they are here below:

• Leviticus 4:26 And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

Hebrews 5 tells of how Christ is the High priest and offers the ultimate sacrifice: Himself......

1 Corinthians 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

It is the basis for the transition from the OLD covenant to the NEW covenant.

Ok, where in the Tanach does God or the prophets ever make mention of a payment for sin?


"Common knowledge" is not scripture. It is akin to ones opinion being stated so many times people now believe it to be the truth. So again I ask where in 'Tanach' does God or the prophets make a demand for payment or require a sacrifice for sin?


Now here you go proving my point. You stated Leviticus 17:11 is that demand for sacrifice. Firstly the verse itself makes no such demand. Secondly, if you leave your "important verse" in the context in which was written and read the chapter in its entirety it teaches us that drinking blood is prohibited. Which is why I don't literally or figuratively.

Now if you truly believe my eternal soul is at stake if I don't believe what you believe. Show me where in scripture God or His prophets made these demands you keep talking about. Because as we all should know, faith comes from hearing the word of God not common knowledge or opinions.

How can a human spirit live a GODLY life?

The human spirit must be quickened by the word that has been deposited in the various rooms of the soul as doctrine. The Holy Spirit goes to the rooms of the soul and brings the word to the memory center and quickens (or makes alive) that word for the believer to mix faith and to profit him in the situation. The word gives him light and life to walk in so that he can avoid the desires and appetites and lusts of the flesh. Without being quickened by the word through the Spirit he would be susceptible to the dictates of the flesh which is carnal and to the spiritual kingdom of darkness.

But how can the Spirit of God in a man NOT LIVE A GODLY LIFE? Do you see the spirit SWOP before you are God's MAN?

The Holy Spirit can be grieved in the life of the believer which would hinder the operation of the Spirit in the life of that believer. The Spirit is holy and still indwells the believer but is being resisted by the flesh because the flesh is always contrary to the Spirit. There is no neutral zone for the believer to live safely anymore than a man can serve God and mammon. The believer must have access to grace so that he can grow in the truth and become strong in faith and see things as God sees them. The more the believer receives the word of God and doctrine the more he is able to think with God and to have God's thoughts in the details of life. His heart must also be established in grace toward himself and others. Paul said. 'I am what I am by the grace of God' and that pertained not only to his calling as an apostle but as a fruitful servant and labour of love.
