After we recently moved, I was checking out my piano to make sure it made the move well. Unfortunately, about 1/3 of the keys were raised and their corresponding hammers were pulled back and when I tried to press the keys, the notes would not play. I was devastated! This is the piano I grew up with, the piano I learned on! So, being mechanically inclined, I decided take apart my piano and try to find out what happened. I couldn't believe my eyes! Apparently, a mouse or two (or three or four), decided to store some "food" underneath the keys -- said food was a bunch of dog food! When the piano was moved, the food got jostled around and forced some of the keys up. I had to remove all 88 keys to remove all the food. The up swing is that my piano has probably never been so clean!

I had to put this sweet baby down today. Here she was trying to comfort me before. I didn't even know there were pictures, but, here it is. She continued showing me love, by being with me and giving me so much love, trying to comfort to me when she needed to be comforted.

I am so very grateful that God gave her to me for fourteen years.

real sorry to hear shiney heartbreaking they are known to be quite caring and sympathetic towards humans and they just generally rock
 
my first hair curling set - old school never tried before and its been on for like 30 mins eeek wont burn the house down tho dont want that

Oh my, I am so sorry, Shine. I know how heartbreaking it can be. I cried for days after I had to put my sister's little dog to sleep. We had him for fourteen years too. Also when we had to put our other dog and our beloved cat to sleep. They say it can be worse than losing a human because their love is so unconditional.
