What does it take to be saved?

problem is very few BELIEVE the word of God and follow JEsus

That is speaking to already saved saints.
 
Jesus spoke to sinners
they werent saved yet

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.


follw ME the word of God

it isnt mere profession

the devils profess christ but they will not be saved.

Amen to that, it is the Holy Spirit working in us as our faith is in the cross.
 
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

so to BELIEVE means to definitely keep the commandments

is required of all that believe

because that is another gospel

The true gospel is
by FAITH
through GRACE (the opower to keep the commandments by divine spirit dweling and working in us_
keeping the law perfectly

with God all things are possible
if you are keeping the law
you are divine powered for man cannot

that is how you know you are saved

by their fruits

Again, John is speaking to those who are already a Christian.
Are you a Christian? Have you ceased from trying to earn your salvation and have received the FREE GIFT of His pardon through His shed blood?

the struggle
the christian fight of faith
pleading and praying to overcome every sin in your life before Jesus retursn

there will be 144,000 who made their robes WHITE
and who are keeping the commandments perfectl

want the verse?

Not quite right, there. Overcoming our sins was done by Christ. All we have to do is to believe in Him. "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Only 144,000 out of 8.6 billion is Jesus victorious or jelly bellied like Obama. I don't think so, I think He has the backbone of a lion and will not allow Satan to out do Him. Your saying Satan wins.

ooops, you forgot the next coupla verses..

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
(Rev 7:9-10)

Since you didn't specify who you were talking to, I'll answer. All we have to do is believe. Believe is to put our trust in Christ. If we put our trust in Christ we will obviously obey His commands. That comes from loving Christ. It is not a condition of salvation. Stop adding conditions to salvation. God made it as easy as He possibly could. Matthew 23:4 talks about those that add their own conditions to His word.

Your statement is very incorrect thinking......Noah and his family was saved by the washing of the WATER by the WORD. Water and Spirit through the mercy of God's grace. All through the OT and all through the NT...water and word.
